I've been going to this office for the past few years, and I truly can't recommend them enough. My sister and older brother are patients here as well, and we all absolutely love it. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with kindness and professionalism. The entire staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cares about their patients. Communication is always clear and thorough -- they take the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with your care. You never feel rushed, and they consistently go above and beyond to make the experience smooth and stress-free. It's rare to find a practice that combines professionalism with such a warm, friendly atmosphere. I'm very grateful to have found them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent eye care!

I had an excellent experience with my eye doctor uchay ohanenye following my corneal cross-linking surgery. They were extremely professional, patient, and thorough during my visit, taking the time to carefully assess my vision and ensure my new prescription was accurate and comfortable. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt confident and well cared for throughout the process. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and the care shown during my recovery. Highly recommend!

This business is second to none in my opinion. The Doctor is warm and professional taking time to thoroughly explain everything in terms easy to understand. The supporting staff are wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable very kind. The selection of eyewear is extensive. The waiting room and exam rooms are very clean and comfortable. I'll be recommending this practice to family and friends often.

I changed my rating because of the doctor herself she works very hard and is one of the nicest optometrist I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Now the guy who's in charge of the front/ customer service is very unprofessional! I have the conversations that were exchanged between him and I and what a disappointment. His first response to my complaint was there's people who spend more money than you and they are not complaining followed by we will give you your money back . My complaint was justified in my opinion as I was not told about my specs being branded giving me the option of deciding or not for myself, I had honestly never seen glasses not intended for sun advertising on the lenses both sides at that. Sadly he is not patient enough or interested in providing good customer service it comes off as a money grab for him in my opinion, to the detriment of the doctor who put her blood sweat and tears in building her brand. Beautiful and clean eye doctor office, I was really happy when I stepped foot in there! I must say I am proud to find out that it's black owned, there was none of the stereotypes that unfortunately fallow a lot of black owned businesses, I was wrong here! They were timely, and very clean. I support everyone but it makes me happy to support my own, I personally have never seen or been to a black owned optometrist not just the doctor but the whole facility so it hit different . I cannot wait to sport my new specs . Update I spoke way too fast! I am so disappointed it's not even funny, I received my new specs and I was surprised. Never in my life have I gotten glasses with the maker of the lens logo engraved in the lenses on both sides!!if you enlarge the picture you can see it a lot more clearly.

I bought my glasses from Star Vision...within a month my frame popped and cracked...had to tape my lenses to hold in the frames. The owner of Star Vision graciously ordered me another frame. Within a short period of time I hear a pop...my frame cracked again! I taped the crack...also popped and cracked on the other side. The owner ordered me the same frame again. This frame popped and cracked for a third time! Even though the owner was not charging me, I refused the same defective frame for a third time. I asked if I could just pay for a new frame in the same shape that would fit my lenses, and he said that was not possible. I went to Specs for Less in Middletown, and they found me a new frame that fit my lenses perfectly...it only took 10 minutes and cost $79! I am now a satisfied customer and will do business with Specs for Less when I need a new pair of glasses! I gave Star Vision 3 stars because the quality of their lenses was excellent... but they could have kept me as a customer if they had just helped me with a new frame for my glasses. I would have gladly paid for a new frame rather than the same old defective frame they were offering.

We've been going here for years. Doctor is great and they're very friendly. The frames are a little bit pricey, but other than that, no complaints! Very professional.

Dr. Stella and team are simply the best! My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Stella for several years now, even though we have moved farther away - it is still worth the trip for us. If you want genuine, caring eye care service from a local team and not some franchise outfit I cannot recommend Star Vision Eye Care enough. I give them 100 stars!
