Simon Eye - N. Wilmington| Concord Pike

I have been a customer for many years with this establishment. Dr. Tucci is FANTASTIC. On my last appointment, I bought my frames and only needed my prescription added. This company wanted to charge $700+ to add the lenses. Decided this price was outrageous!!! Went to a competitive eyeglass store and was charged $350 less. WHAT A RIPOFF!!!

Remember that scene in "This is Spinal Tap"? On a scale from 1 to 10, Simon Eye goes to 11. Outstanding experience from the phone call to setup an appointment, the greeting at the front desk, experience with the tech and Dr. Schaedler, ordering contacts and final steps of the visit. Absolutely outstanding and highly recommended.

This is my first time coming to simon eye, coz it's very conveniently closes to my house and I thought the place will be very welcome to everyone who wants to come and get information or get services or buy something there BUT turns out I encountered very unpleasant customer experience from very beginning in the front desk and the optician. I feel that place only welcoming for selected people they like or maybe they only don't have a kind of basic customer service.

I've been a patient of Dr. Zefanne Bergado for many years, and I can't say enough about the excellent care she provides. She has always gone above and beyond to ensure both my daughters and I receive the very best eye care. Dr. Bergado is thorough, professional, and patient she takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes sure we feel comfortable with each step of the process. What I appreciate most is her genuine care and consistency. Whether it's a routine exam or a concern that comes up, I always leave her office confident that our eye health is in the best hands. It's rare to find a doctor who combines expertise with such compassion, and Dr. Bergado does exactly that. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-quality eye care for themselves or their family!

My husband and I have been loyal patients at Simon Eye for quite some time, but our recent experiences have left us quite disappointed and concerned. During my husband's last appointment, he encountered unprofessional behavior from both the front desk and eyeglass staff. The person assisting him with his glasses was dismissive and did not take the time to discuss available options. When my husband realized the wrong frames had been ordered, he returned within 30 minutes to address the issue; he was met with scoffing and made to feel like a burden. He wondered to himself and to me if this is what to expect as one reaches "a certain" age; that feeling is disheartening and unacceptable. Today, I went to pick up his trial pair of contacts and inquired about the status of his eyeglass order. Unfortunately, the front desk staff was again dismissive. The eyeglass team's behavior was shocking; I was taken aback by their lack of professionalism. Instead of providing immediate assistance, they engaged in bickering with each other; then, when dealing with me - one staff member even mocked my husband's name in a sing-song voice, expressing her disdain for it and commented, "in the world I don't get along with men with that first name." I was very uncomfortable! Another employee rolled her eyes and responded curtly when she mentioned the insurance to her co-worker. I guess our insurance and my husband's name are not good enough for Simon Eye. It seems we are not being treated with the respect and dignity every patient deserves. I am genuinely concerned about returning to pick up his eyeglasses, as I fear the same disrespectful treatment. I hope the management addresses these issues, as it greatly affects the patient experience. Thank you, Victoria Sorg

Was there with mu BF - Horrible service - staff is mean and rude. Heard them whispering about customers. They add fees on for prescriptions that insurance doesn't cover. Very sketchy - I won't go back - looking for a more reputable eye place now.

My family and I have been loyal customers for over ten years and have never had any issues--until today. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing due to the unprofessional and dismissive behavior from multiple staff members. The front desk staff refused to check us in, claiming we hadn't completed the online check-in--even though we never received any instructions or messages indicating that was required. When asked for a phone number, the staff member repeatedly typed it incorrectly while talking over me, then claimed she had confirmed it--even though she never asked. She also refused to provide a printed receipt for my charges, simply stating, "we have a new system," while chewing gum and maintaining a rude demeanor throughout the interaction. Dr. Zefanne Borgade was also extremely unprofessional. When I asked questions about my prescription and contact lenses, she responded with sarcasm and impatience. She repeatedly pointed to the prescription on the contact box with her pen in a condescending manner, and when I asked a final question, she dismissively said, "I already went over that," though she hadn't explained it. Finally, the staff member at the contacts desk was unnecessarily rude when I asked for clarification about the lenses. Overall, the level of disrespect and lack of professionalism shown by the staff today was unacceptable. It's clear that proper training in communication and customer service is needed at this location.

The staff are always super cool, I had a really helpful convo with Mars involving times I could come in to better plan out my appointments as well as resources available to me.
