I had a comprehensive eye exam with Dr Doderer. The exam was very thorough. Dr Doderer took the time to answer and explain all the questions I had. All the employees were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr Doderer and Lens Crafters.

I've had a recurring issue with my most recent frames, specifically repeated failure of the lens coating. The lenses were replaced only 3-4 months ago, yet the same problem has already returned on both lenses. This has happened multiple times throughout ownership, as prior replacements also failed to hold up.
Despite this being a documented, recurring issue, I was told the lenses are "outside the warranty" and was offered two paid options instead:
* $1,200 to replace the lenses, or
* $700 for a full replacement with new frames
For glasses at this price point, it's unreasonable to be asked to pay for replacements when the same defect keeps occurring. Expensive product, but poor durability and no accountability when problems repeat.
Very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this shop to anyone expecting quality lenses or support when issues arise.

Michaella at the Coconut Point branch is amazing. She didn't just try to sell me a pair of glasses. She was patient with all of the pairs I tried on, and gave her honest opinion of each one until we found the right pair. Everyone in the store is friendly, but Michaella ia may go to person.

By far the greatest display of exceptional customer service I've ever witnessed. Azalea assisted me with the most unbelievable kindness and patience while choosing eyewear, but I encountered Angie 1st. I was a little bit annoyed about paying upfront for my copay. She didn't skip a beat and left me feeling guilty about being annoyed, because she was so nice. She also had a customer who was so unpleasant, I began counting to 10. She apologized and wished him a good day. The doctor was very nice and pleasant as well. It was a great experience and, I appreciate all your professionalism, courtesy and patience. Lens crafter's in Estero is probably offers the worst customer service I have experienced . They have no clue about their products or even how to handle customers. Very disappointing . A staff member tried to help but the manager was pretty useless

This location had the best vibe and very informative people. We had been into six or more other eyeglass locations looking for glasses and multiple were either not very nice, couldn't be bothered, or didn't give much information at all as to the process for someone new to glasses. So we were very happy as soon as we walked into this LensCrafters. The people working there were kind, helpful, and not pushy, and they had the biggest selection of glasses out of any other store we had been to. It was worth driving much further from our home. They did seem a little bit more expensive than most, but some of that's up to what you choose in frames and add ons. We loved that they had some high-end brand options like the Prada frames we chose. They also had a less expensive frame we were considering that was really nice so there was a range. And after dealing with so many incompetent other places, it was worth the extra cost for the difference in insurance.

ANGIE GOT ATTITUDE LIKE NO OTHER.............
Giving all fairness, I will talk about our good experience. The day we went in, and my wife picked out a pair of Versace frames to put her prescription on was quite delightful. The young professional lady Azalea treated us with the utmost of kindness and service. She gets 5 stars. *****
That is where delightful turns into dilemma.
When I went there a week later to pick up the glasses that were already paid for Angie made this transaction so impossible that even if I wanted to keep the glasses, we just could not. She was authoritative, totally dismissive of customer service. What could have taken literally 5 minutes cost me 35 minutes because of her lazy attitude and standoff demeanor. She should not be working with the public. And I say this from the perspective of successfully owning a retail operation for the last 38 years. I rarely complain but had to share this with people so they are aware about Angie...."When will those clouds all disappear"?
By the way, went back same day......got our $695 refund due to Angie. Bought Prada pair at Visionworks. Mike was the best.
