The procedure was well-done and pain free. My disappointment stems from the fact that no aftercare instructions were given and no information about how the injection would affect me in the short term. The only way I knew that I was supposed to use an antibiotic eye drop for 10 days was that CVS sent me notice that I had a prescription ready for pickup. When I left the chair post injection, I could see absolutely nothing and had a severe headache center forehead. It took about 10 minutes to be able to see anything at all which was very frightening.

My grandmother developed a serious eye infection shortly after receiving treatment at this retina center. When we reached out for help, the staff showed little concern or urgency. Because of the delay and lack of proper follow-up care, she has now lost partial vision in one eye. We trusted this clinic and are devastated by the outcome. I want others to be aware of our experience so they can make an informed decision before seeking care here. Don't recommend

Complete lack of concern. Get them in a get them out. My eyeball hurt so bad that I spent most of three days with my face in a pillow. 10 days later my eyeball still hurts. I went to the office and showed them a picture of my eye and told them about the pain. A big so what on their part.
It's been 14 days and my eyeball still hurts. No contact. Just what I expected

My husband had a Macular Pucker, all the Doctors in the Pensacola area said nothing could be done! We found Dr. Malkani and after one visit knew this was the place to be! His surgery for the pucker and cataract was June 27th. The procedure was flawless, follow up was amazing and he is looking for ward to getting his other cataract done.
Well worth the time, money & effort to travel to Port Charlotte!

Dr Malkani was congenial and engaged. He asked questions to be sure he understood my concerns and then outlined options to be considered. No pressure, just advice and possible solutions.
