Experience was good with the staff, especially with the young man who did all the tests before seeing Dr. Smith. It's like stepping back in time a bit but they have been around for a long time. Dr. Smith was very nice and did a thorough test. See you next year!!!

Awesome experience! Dr. Cameron is professional and knowledgeable. I am able to wear contacts again. For the first time I am able to see distance and read with my contacts in. Thank you Dr. Cameron. Pleasant experience from the time I walked through the door until I left.

I am a local physician and I took my mother to Dr. Smith for consultation regarding her dry eyes. Dr. Smith and his staff were extremely thorough and efficient. We were educated about her condition and the treatment plan was explained in detail. What a wonderful experience! I was very impressed by Dr. Smith and his office staff and will definitely refer my patients to him.

I went to see Dr. Stephen Smith for an infected blocked tear duct. I had to return twice as it got worse and every time they squeezed me in that day or the next to see me. The staff was always very helpful. Dr. Smith actually met me at his office (with his family on a day that the office was closed) and did a procedure to alleviate the swelling in my eye and face. I was very happy with him and his office!

Even though I questioned whether the prescription in my new glasses would be correct for prisms since I was not examined for that, Dr. Smith insisted that if the prisms in my old glasses were okay, there would be no difference in the new ones. I ordered new glasses m elsewhere to get the frames I wanted, but the prescription his office provided was inaccurate, and I ended up with terrible double vision with the new glasses (which prisms are intended to correct). They were expensive, useless waste. The optician at Florida Optical Services arranged a second exam for me with a different doctor (additional expensed for me) which included vision alignment and which produced a complete and accurate prescription that resulted in wonderful glasses. Smith's office also wanted to set me for for six-month visits, which no optical office has ever suggested before and which my insurance would be unlikely to cover. I have to question whether their practices are revenue-driven rather than patient-care driven. This is the worse and most costly experience I have ever had with an optometry office. I would advise against Dr. Smith and Eye Associates of Fort Myers on the basis of this expensive.

The doctors okay but the staff is lacking. And I'm sure that doctor already knows that. If you're going to charge me for services rendered at least do something. Couldn't even find me a referral doctor in a timely manner for a eye emergency. If you have an eye emergency you don't want to wait three to four weeks to be seen by a doctor that will help. Thanks for nothing dr. Smith. Your so-called receptionist call two places came up with a appointment almost a month from that day. Then when I asked her to try to find something sooner. She complained about really having to look. So I got mad and left thanks for nothing. You got paid for nothing!

I went to Eye Associates for an annual eye check up. I have been diagnosed with Glaucoma in the past , have consistently high ocular pressures, had laser surgery to decrease those pressure, and have a history of Glaucoma on both sides of my family. After seeing several techs I was told I was good to go. I inquired about having the normal Glaucoma pressure and field of vison tests and was told they were not required. I asked to speak to the ophthalmologist and was finally able to see Dr. Smith where he proceeded to tell me that I was fine and all of that past history must have been wrong. I moved regularly with work over the years and have multiple doctors that can attest to my Glaucoma history. According to Dr. Smith, all of those other doctors (since the 1990's) were wrong. I insisted on the glaucoma testing and he reluctantly agreed. As in previous years my pressures were high and I have a slight field of vision loss. Dr. Smith never returned to explain my test results. A tech reported the findings to me. Dr. Smith was condescending and dismissive and I will never go back there again.

I love Eye Associates of Ft. Myers. I went for a photo facial and Cindy was awesome. She went through the entire process and was very genuine. I will also be switching from my current Eye Doctor to Dr. Stephen Smith. <3
