No one let me know the optometrist I was seeing for years was no longer with Target optical in this location and has since moved her practice to another city. Apparently there is a new doctor on staff at Gulf Coast and the website shows hours of operation but I've spent three days calling and don't get an answer or a voicemail. Today I called the main store number to ask if the optical was still in business. They said yes and tried to contact optical for me but couldn't reach them either. Customer service needed to take my number to walk to the optical dept to ask them to call me. Update: I still haven't heard from optical.

Unbelievable customer service. I came in from out of town in a bind and the staff not only made sure I was taking care of but went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy. They knew I was out of town and knew I would probably never be back to the area and that didn't stop the excellent customer service. Melissa started it off with compassion and kindness followed by Luis' expertise. This is the place where I want to take my family and wish there was more customer service like this out there.

This place is an absolute joke!!! No longer will they have an optometrist in office. It will be virtual. Had an appointment today, but after driving 30 minutes they informed us the doctor had been replaced and appt no longer existed. A freakin phone call would have been decent!! Stay away from here!

I recently took a wonderful vacation to Ft Myers, during my stay I found myself in need of a quick glasses fix; the screw securing the lens to my frame was loosening & on the verge of coming completely undone. Thankfully Jessica was able to save the day (& most likely my trip)! She graciously offered her services and wasted no time in not only tightening my lens screw, but other screws that may have needed some adjustment! Didn't charge me a dime and tried to refuse a tip.. My only complaint is that she didn't come back to Chicago with us! Great personality! Great service!! 5 Stars!!!

Lena went above and beyond to take care of me and provide me with everything I needed. I happened to stop in one day just to get my glasses tightened. I ended up getting a brand new pair under my protection plan and she did everything possible to help me with that process and make sure I was leaving happy. I live about 30 minutes away where I do have a Target Optical nearby, but decided to come back to get my new pair here just because of Lena's amazing service!
