Walmart Vision & Glasses

Might be the worst customer service and experience I've had from a "doctor". I showed up 15 minutes early and was not helped till 10 minutes after my appointment time. The entire time the front desk lady was helping a customer and there was an older man preoccupied in a room off to the side who did not say anything despite looking at me multiple times. The confirmation call prior to appointment was confirmed and did not mention showing up early or where to go for the appointment. Apparently you must be checked in 5 minutes early for "paperwork" and if you are 5 minutes later than your appointment time you are considered a no show and they will not be able to "manually schedule" you or conduct your eye exam. They do not mention the check in for the eye exam is all the way at the back of the office, nor do they have signs to tell you that either. Being there early does not matter obviously. Customer service was unprofessional and quite useless.

I have taken my son here twice in the past year and both times it was great! Dr. Hendrix is wonderful with my son and she explains things very well. I am very pleased with her. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful and was not rude to us at all. When picking out his glasses and sports goggles, the gentlemen was very nice and helpful. It took only about 6-7 days to get both his glasses and his sports goggles. For now, I will always take my children here.

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER! I made the mistake of using Ellington Eyecare (via Walmart) for the first time last year. Terrible experience from start to finish. Waited for over an hour to talk to an optometrist via Webcam for 2 min. Contacts took forever to arrive. Just called to check my prescription against contacts I have at home, and they could not send me my prescription because they said it was past the one year mark. Incredibly disappointed with this experience. I will never use Ellington Eyecare or Walmart vision center again. I should have known better.

Rude & disrespectful. Pretended to call the police after telling the receptionist & her best buddy that they are racist. I waited for them to arrive but no officer showed up. And the front end supervisor at Walmart just walked away after realizing I did nothing wrong. All I asked for was the total price for both pairs of glasses including the anti glare and blue light and the person that was taking the order was very rude, impersonal, unpleasant and impatient. Acted liked it was too hard to give me the total amount for the order as if I were asking her to do something outside of her job description.Went 3 times to order glasses for my daughter because they are incompetent. Will never go back. Would gives no stars for those Karens but that is not an option.

Be aware when booking the booking staff is not affiliated with the doctor so they don't know anything when it comes to the insurance. I had an appointment booked and arrived just to be told by the doctors staff that my insurance didn't cover a contact exam at their office. So it was a complete waste of my time I won't be a return customer.

Dr. Hendrix is exceptional n well worth the wait. She didn't try to rush the process but gave the challenge of correcting my vision full attention. And James was thorough in explaining exactly what my new glasses will be like. Thank u... Yes some of the other staff is rude.

The staff was super helpful - especially Stephanie! We were visiting for a baseball tournament. My son lost a contact in the pool and didn't pack any extras. She helped us to get him some contacts for the week.

Horrible Experience..the Lady at desk was rude, not even a smile, acted like we were bothering her just for being there. Unfriendly, waited over an hour, never got the chance to see a doctor. She made us feel unwanted there first off then wanted us to make an appt, after we told her we called first and the nice gentlemen told us to come on in before 2. We got there at 12:30. Waited like she told us too. Then she calls me up saying my insurance will not reinburse us so with that said, it detered us from getting the eye exam. On our way home, I called back via insurance and they stated they would have reinburst us for the exam because our vision plan was on a noncontracting basis. We just felt because it was after 2, she wanted us to leave..We were the last clients sitting there by the way. Doctors may have been wonderful, but we'll never know because we are now taking our business elsewhere. They just lost 4 patients because we are a family of four. If you work with customers treat them like you would want to be treated no matter who it is..The receptionist just looked like she hated her job. She got paid for being there. We didn't but we waited like she told us too for over an hour. Bad Service.
