Dr. Nausheen Khuddus, Pediatric Ophthalmologist

We absolutely love this office. From the staff that greets you at check in to the time you check out, everything is friendly and efficient. We have been to the office to see Dr Karl Bodendorfer and Dr Nausheen Khuddus. All of the staff are knowledgeable and take the time to listen to any issues you might be having. From a routine eye exam to cataract surgery, if you need anything eye related, this is the best office to provide your care!

My daughter had went to another doctor at 14 months old. I just felt very nervous about it. We were recommended Dr Khuddus as I was calling around for baby glasses. We went to see her and immediately knew she was our Dr. she very detailed in explaining things and did not go as strong as the other Dr had wanted to go. My daughter is now 8 and we absolutely LOVE Dr Khuddus Ms Tammy and all office staff

Dr. Khuddus and her team are incredible! She is so sweet, knowledgeable and professional. We needed a blocked tear duct opened for our infant and she saw us, scheduled surgery within 2 weeks and was excellent about communication and compassion. Surgery was finished in about 10 minutes and she came out promptly to give us an update.

I really like the doctor but the doctor over scheduled to many kids all the time. This practice is very rude. We first started going here before Covid but now this place is not for the kids anymore. Th doctor tells the parents to schedule the next appointment and the parents do but it is actually further out then the doctor wanted. Then this office calls to reschedule the appointment but it is going to be another 2 months. The parent questions this and this office tells me that I am cussing at them and I never did. So you asked for the office manager to complain but this office manager sticks up for the worker and then kids my child from going to them for a year. I am never going to take my children back to this unprofessional office or recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I drove for over an hour to see this doctor. We tried to pay our co-pay in cash and was told they couldn't make change. We asked to be billed and that was denied. I waited over a month to get my daughter help, and because the office manager got mad about the change refused to let my child see the doctor. I agree her dad could have handled it better, but to take it out on my child was uncalled for. Especially since our own eye doc referred us and said that my child had a problem that needed to be addressed asap. I'm sure she's probably a great doctor, now all I can do is hope that she can get the help she needs somewhere else. Again, she's a child that needs help and was denied services. If there were negative stars I would give it - I guess google doesn't work that way.

Had an ER visit while visiting Florida from out of state. Was diagnosed with a corneal abrasion and strongly recommended to followup here. When I called, they wouldn't even consider seeing me until October, and this is March. What is a person supposed to do in an emergency? The recommended people won't consider getting you in. I was terribly disappointed. And the reception was rude about it too.

Dr. Khuddus has been wonderful. One of my children had a mass near her eye and we were referred to UF to Dr. David Mills and had an awful experience with bedside manner. We ended up going out of network to see Dr. Khuddus because of how highly others spoke of her. Dr. Khuddus and Tammy her assistant have wonderful bedside manner and are very thorough. The day of my daughters surgery Dr. Khuddus saw my daughter was scared and picked her up to carry her back (rather than going on the stretcher) to the OR while playing baby shark to distract her. The surgery went really well and my daughter barely has a scar. Fast forward a few years and now she is seeing my son for his vision. I highly recommend Dr. Khuddus.

On a Friday, my 7 year old son woke up with a stye like growth on his eye. It was horrible. I was frantic and finally after seeing 2 opthamologists one called Dr Khuddus right away and she set it up for him to be seen Monday. When we seen her she was so kind, and she wrote scripts to help him with the discomfort. The following Wednesday she took him in for Surgery and removed it. She is awesome and I am so greatful for her even to this day.
