Definitely cannot recommend this place. After being told insurance would cover exam billed anyway. The exam was thorough. Doctor competent but definitely mislead and billed $145. I should not have to pay for this and I will not and be wary doing business here. They will say it is covered and Bill you later anyway.
Edit. I was assured by staff the exam was going to stop without charge if it was routine because only then charged. It was not routine and was given referral. When I was there was another person there complaining the appointment had been cancelled and they also were seriously unhappy. Also never heard back from referral dr. And was told office would check on that. $45 ?

My husband and I both made appointments with Dr. Ted Brink and Assoc. for an annual eye exam. The main reason we chose them is because they were affiliated with Lenscrafters, and we get a substantial discount from them through AARP. That discount does NOT include the eye exam! Dr. Brink and Assoc are a completely separate entity with different insurance requirements. That said, we were well satisfied with the care we received from Dr. Rubin and felt that the cost was reasonable. My husband even had to go back because his prescription wasn't correct and his new glasses were giving him blurred vision. Dr. Rubin corrected the prescription and there was no additional charge. The staff were all terrific and they have all the latest state-of-the-art equipment.

My appointment was for 1 pm, but I got there early as my wife had an appointment before I did. They took me in early. DR Yaidy Exposito was amazing i'm very professional. My eye exam was quick. The staff there made me feel relaxed and at ease. They have definitely improved service wise since my last exam.A couple years

Been going to this clinic for at least 10 years and my last few appointments have left me looking for another doctor... Last contact exam I had, the physician was spending more time at the front desk with the clerks than actually in the room with me as a patient. I didn't even buy contacts cause I didn't trust the script. The experience had me skip my annual last year in case he was my doctor again. This year I scheduled appointments for two people, and they cancelled the appointment a month after I scheduled online without explanation. I called and they said the doctor isn't going to be there, and the online appointment wasn't supposed to schedule him that day. Instead of doing the courteous thing and reschedule our appointments with explanation, they just cancelled us without one. If you need a one time exam, this place is good but if you're looking for consistent quality eye care then I would look somewhere else.

Overall I had a mixed experience at this Optometrist office. This was due to the blonde receptionist and the assumed consent to retinal imaging.
- While checking in, the blonde receptionist gave me a hard time and a sarcastic response when I asked why I needed to provide my medical insurance in addition to vision. It seems reasonable when you read the paperwork, but the attitude was incredibly unprofessional.
- I was led to receive retinal imaging without being asked. This is an extra charge of about $30-40. Although I'm sure many prefer not to be dilated, this made me feel as though I was being pressured into an extra charge. I'm assuming this was something that the receptionist was supposed to ask, and did not. The techs were surprised but understanding once I made it clear I would not be paying extra for this service.
- The saving grace for this review was the Optometrist. She was efficient, knowledgeable, and overall fantastic.

Everyone was very nice. They wanted to dilate my eyes but understood that I wasn't comfortable driving since I drove myself. They let me schedule another appointment so I could have someone drive me. Picking out my new glasses was tough for me and the ladies helped me pick out a good pair of glasses. I had an awesome experience!

Online appointment was easy to schedule. Completed intake documents online the day before the appointment, which made the intake process quick and painless. Dr. Exposito was very patient throughout the exam. On the sales floor, Spencer was even more patient as I bounced back and forth between different lens options. I never felt rushed. This was overall a very pleasant experience.
