So glad to have found Newsome Eye Care Services! Excellent, efficient, and very attentive care from both the doctors and staff. This is the best all round vision treatment I've ever received for my multiple eye conditions. -- Angela

I had originally first seen Dr. Newsom years ago for an eye exam (I am diabetic so it's more complicated than a quick exam in the back room of an eyeglass place). More recently, I had a very negative experience with Shands doctors who were jerking me around for several months. After this, I wound up back at this location, and the problem was resolved almost immediately. I did not see Dr. Newsom himself for most of the work since someone else was better suited to my issues. The staff was always very friendly to me, and though my insurance does not cover the visits, I spent less here than I was spending at Shands. My hard contact lenses wound up being less for both, than Shands wanted me to pay for ONE scleral lens. At Eye Surgicenter, my contact follow-up appointments have been free, and when these did not fit and I wasn't entirely comfortable, the doctor exchanged them out and ordered new ones... at zero cost to me. This was not going to be the case at Shands!!! I am very pleased at my experiences here, as are my other family members who swear by this place.

Wonderful people. Dr. Newsom has a well deserved reputation for excellence. When my cornea was scratched, they got me in that day!

I always feel well taken care of by the staff and they make sure to have the some of the latest examination equipment.

AWFUL!!! Rude staff. Ridiculously busy - difficult to get in, unforgiving. Don't go!
