I've been seeing Dr. Starling for a few years now and she is alway great. There isn't a lot of waiting around, her office staff is friendly and move you through your appointment tasks quickly and efficiently. One major improvement this time was the staff asking if I wanted any help with eyeglasses! I got an email letting me look prior to the appointment and while I was there, more than one person asked if I wanted assistance with picking some out. While I didn't need any new ones this year, it was so nice to be asked and I will definitely be utilizing this service in future.

Apparently, if this doctor gives you a medical diagnosis, your vision plan won't cover it anymore. All I wanted was a routine eye exam - new glasses and a new prescription but since I have a medical diagnosis, I have to pay a co-pay through my medical insurance and they won't accept my vision plan for a routine exam. I have been a patient of this doctor for many many years. Not anymore good luck to the rest of you.

I had a great experience here today, and highly recommend this professional team! My appointment was set for 10:00am, and I was walked back to the examination room around 9:55am for some initial prep work with the technician. Dr. Starling was efficient and professional, and I was out of there by 10:20am. By the time I reached the front desk to pay, my prescription had already been received by my pharmacy. This office is clean, organized, friendly, and (most importantly) competent.

Our visit to Starling Eye Group was great! They accommodated my appointment and my 9 year-old daughter's first eye exam together and it was a great experience for both of us. Everyone from the front desk staff, the pre-exam staff, techs and Dr. Starling were very friendly and prompt. My daughter was treated kindly and eased into each step of the exam. Decent selection of frames and the optician was great at sorting out and explaining my insurance benefits. Great experience overall!

Gee, it must be nice to be SO successful that you can blow off patients. I arrived 17 minutes late for my appointment; there was ONE other person in the waiting area and the Receptionist said: "Sorry, you're late. We can't accommodate you today; we're all booked up." I guess Dr. Starling doesn't need business; mine obviously and maybe yours either. Fortunately, there are plenty of other places in Gainesville to get your eyes checked and be overcharged for glasses; places that accommodate you even if you're 17 minutes late.

I love Dr. Starling and her staff. Her office is always so friendly and the do an outstanding job. The office is very warm and clean. The eyeglass frame selection isn't huge but I like that, I get overwhelmed if there are too many choices. Dr. Starling and her staff answered all my questions. I have been going to her for years and have never had a bad experience.
