America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

We had a very frustrating experience at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in Poinciana. My husband made his glasses there, and the entire process took much longer than expected. First, it took about 8 days to receive the glasses. When he finally picked them up, he couldn't see properly, so he had to redo the eye exam. After that, we were told it would take another week to get the new glasses. During all this time, my husband still had to drive without proper vision, which is unsafe and unacceptable. Because of the long delays and mistakes, we honestly lost trust in this place. It does not feel like a reliable location. It feels like they are more focused on selling products than actually caring about the customer's well-being or vision health. Another very negative point is the pricing. They advertise glasses for $79.90, but by the time everything is added, the final price was over $250. This feels misleading and not transparent at all. Overall, the service was slow, the quality was poor, communication was weak, and the prices were much higher than advertised. We do not recommend this location and will not be returning.

I got my exam and glasses from America's Best and the process was so easy and smooth. The eye tech and doctor were so efficient and friendly. Austin who assisted me when picking out glasses was straightforward and helped me get the best professional guidance through lens options and frame selection. He gave expert advice on maximizing my insurance benefits, and walked me through the pricing step-by-step. I would definitely recommended coming here. Ask for Austin.

**UPDATE** In my last review, I shared how I waited over 2 hours for my appointment and even had my frames broken by mistake. I left incredibly frustrated. To my surprise, corporate saw my review, reached out, and took my concerns seriously. The corporate rep and Austin, the store manager, both listened with care, showed accountability, and promised to make it right. And they did--I received a free pair of eyeglasses with a warranty, and the process was smooth and stress-free. My new glasses even arrived earlier than expected. America, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied before leaving. Her kindness and genuine customer service stood out. Mistakes happen, but what matters most is how they're handled. This team was transparent, professional, and committed to turning my negative experience into a positive one. I started with 1 star, but now I'm confidently giving this location 5 stars. If you need quality eyeglasses, great service, and an optical store that values its customers, I highly recommend them!

This store is very attentive and ready to help you with everything. I stepped in for the 1st time this morning, and everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. I wasn't rushed when it came to trying on different styles, and I had help explaining how my insurance worked. 100/10

Came in for my eye exam and was greeted warmly by the staff. The exam was quick, thorough, and done very well. Afterward, Luis helped me look at frames, and even though I didn't end up finding anything that fit my personal style, he was extremely kind, patient, and genuinely tried his best to help. You can tell he cares about doing his job well and providing great customer service

Everyone was amazing! I needed a last minute appointment with dilation. They were able to fit me in same day,! Caring, friendly and great customer service. Definitely recommend America's Best in Poinciana.

America Odalys and Austin were all very knowledgeable and very helpful. They were all very professional and super nice. This location has the new Jimmy Choo collection available and they are beautiful.

The entire experience at this America's best facility was amazing! I had very little wait time. Their facility has the newer technology equipment. Dr. Marto was very thorough and explained everything. The icing on the cake was the technician by the name of Ian! He was very patient with me, explained all of the choices and helped me make decision on the two glasses that I purchased. He was very knowledgeable, which helped me through the process. They double check their work and ensure that you get an accurate fitting. I would highly recommend this office.
