A fantastic office with great staff! They have taken really great care of my mom and I appreciate that very much. I am very grateful to have found this office. Thank you!!
I really like the office staff and Dr Ramsey is so caring and professional.
I would give this office ZERO stars if that were an option. I found Dr.Ramsay to be very competent, respectful to patients, snd caring. However, the whole office staff is beyond awful. From not answering the phone & putting on the out-of-office message (so you cannot leave one) when called DURING office hours, to scheduling surgery without informing the patient and then lying about it and saying she did tell me (even though I had a witness to the contrary and shouldn't you CONFIRM with the patient the date is acceptable??) to never calling back when they are supposed to, actually never calling back at all, giving the cold shoulder and treating me with disrespect because I asked my insurance company to help me with getting an appointment.....this office is the worst I have ever visited. I should have known it would be terrible when it literally took me over 25 initial phone calls to get an appointment & when I FINALLY talked to the office manager, all she could do was complain about my referring optometrist's office, basically saying they were incompetent. Which is not at all accurate. But I really should have known the first time I walked in the office....it's old and looks drab & dirty but nothing a coat of paint & new carpet couldn't fix, so why don't they??? Then the same woman who later lied about my surgery date sat in the reception window while arguing with another patient on the phone, then hanging up on her. In addition, a "machine" had become damaged so I couldn't get one of the tests I needed at that appointment, meaning I had to go back (an hour's drive for my husband, who has to take off work to take me to my appointments, as my eye condition makes it illegal to drive myself, each way), but couldn't have another appointment for almost THREE months! Not to mention they should have rescheduled the original appointment if they were unprepared (regardless of the reason ) for all necessary testing. Also, both times I have been there involved 2+ hours, mostly waiting with a maximum of 3 other people. No reason for that. By the way, my surgery? It was supposed to be 5 MONTHS after seeing them the first time. That is RIDICULOUS, esp. considering my conditions, which have continued to worsen, could result in loss of sight if not treated in a timely manner. However, this office staff could not care less. No offer to even TRY to see if it could be sooner. In fact, all I got was, "Other offices take longer." Fortunately, I have found a new ophthalmologist with a caring staff so I never have to see these uncaring people (who are perhaps in the wrong job) again . Since it was obvious they (with the exception of Dr. Ramsay himself) did not care for me, I am sure this makes them quite happy. But do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE unless you just like to be disrespected and mistreated as s patient.
I have received semi-good care here. I saw Dr Ramsay for the 1st time on this visit and was pleased. He was personable, explained well and took his time with me. I still have an issue with the short staffing problems and having to wait outside on a porch until someone comes to answer the door. Ridiculous customer service. It was raining, thundering and lightening on my last visit. No way was I waiting on a porch for them to let me in. The front staff doesn't appear to pay any attention to those coming in for an appointment. I waited outside at least 25 minutes and well past my appointment time before being "allowed" in. . Being Covid conscious is one thing but it's time to step up your professionalism and provide better customer service.
Found staff to be helpful and efficient on my two current appointments. My only complaint is the length of time it has taken from my initial referral (mid-October) to my first appointment (md-December) then to scheduling of cataract removal (end of March). It would also be very helpful if appointments, etc. could be emailed.
I was very pleased with all the staff. Exceptionally
Very through with my testing. Took her time and was very nice and a pleasant personality. Went thru a lot of testing.
Ryan was super nice. Had a wonderful personality and you could tell he enjoyed his job. Very personable and I feel very knowledgeable explaining things to me.
Front desk very nice as well.
Thank you for the care you will be giving me as well.

It was a very good visit. Staff us very polite and thorough. The doctor even suggested that I check about a free pair of glasses even though I could still use the ones I had. Julie was extremely helpful and gave me the choice of different options and gave me examples to choose from. Great visit!!
If I could give them no stars I would. I had a horrible experience with this place. Been dealing with them for 3 months. It took them forever to get my referral to begin with even after my primary sent several times. Also, no one ever answers the phones and def. they do not return calls. I finally got an appt. a few weeks ago and they cancelled me last min. Because apparently the office staff was out with COVID according to Kelly and they had to reschedule me. Today was my appt. (again) which after so long I was excited because I need to have eye surgery already and the once again called me last minute to cancel my appt. due to systems being down. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS PLACE!!! WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR OFFICE ARE YOU PPL RUNNING?!!!! Simply horrible. Idk how they managed to get so many high star reviews, I would offer the notion they are fakes or office friends.
