Dr. Konrad Filutowski, MD

I'd like to say this is the worst eye Doctor that I've ever went to, I had one eye done in an assembly line manner. No time for my valium medication to even begin to work. Nothing but trouble with my eye. Since early 2024 , I saw each and almost every Doctor at the Orlando metro office trying to figure out why my eye is killing me. They(STAFF) do not write down on my record that the surgeon Doctor Filowtaski poked me in the eye when he did my surgery for cateract replacement. I was not asleep and was yelled at by him to not move during the procedure. I'm just telling you this guy ruin my right eye, pain wise. Then I go in the last time after about several times of seeing the other doctors there and on my last visit, the Doctor states,Dr. Filowtuski put in the notes from seeing him last ,no laser surgery for me. My question is why don't you admit that you injured me during the procedure. Possibly you need to retire and by the way take the stupid life-size poster of yourself down in your office. Oh and by the way I had my other eye done at another surgeon .. just to see the differance and boy was there...no pain at all and perfect vision. I really would choose another dr or not see him ..My husband had a great experience with lasix at this place way back when and thought I would have a good experience but he has a new opinion after my experience. Now late summer since eye surgery in the spring and having a cat scan on eye because of Dr Filowtuski injuring my eye during cateract surgery.

I had an exceptional experience at the eye surgery clinic today, thanks to the receptionist Mia who assisted me. From the moment I walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. She quickly helped me check in and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. Her calm demeanor made me feel at ease during what could have been a stressful visit. She's truly a credit to the clinic. Highly recommend!

I had Dr. Filutowski perform lens replacements 15 years ago and he did an amazing job. My vision has been perfect! 15 years later he recently removed cataracts from one of my eyes and replaced the lens. I know I will have perfect vision again as soon as I'm healed. I'm blessed to have him as my eye surgeon. And now twice as blessed with his adorable kindhearted son Dr. Oliver Filutowski joining his team. I recommend Filutowski Eye Institute.

I had a fantastic experience at Filutowski Eye Institute. My cateract surgery was so successful that I have not had to wear reading glasses since the surgery. Meckenzie scheduled all of my appointments. She was patient and has a cheerful demeanor. She sets an excellent standard of customer service. She is a remarkable first impression for Filutowski Eye Institute. Tara presented the post operative instructions clearly and made me feel confident and comfortable about the procedure. Katherine also impressed me with the way she cares for the patient. She is professional and knowledgable. Thank you Dr. Filutowski and staff for your stellar care!

I chose to have the lense replacement, even though I didn't have cataracts, therefore I had to pay out of pocket $10,000. I was told that I chose the best lense replacement out of all corrective lenses.Before surgery I had to wear readers almost all the time. My first surgery took place in June of 2022, my second eye was done in July of 2022. Since then I have not had to wear readers any longer, however, my vision for distance has been blurry. (especially at night) They had to prescribe me a prescription for glasses that I had to pay for until they corrected my blurriness. Within the past 6 months Ive had two more procedures on my left eye to correct the blurriness. It's now March of 2023 and I'm still dealing with blurriness. I was supposed to go back in January, but they had cancelled the appointment. My next appointment is scheduled for tomorrow, however, they called me today to once again cancel on me.

Beautiful office! It literally looks like a eye hospital. Its super upscale and beautiful. I was very impressed. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. Heather was who assisted me And i loved her. She did an amazing job taking care of us and making me less nervous. She's very passionate about her job. I loved her spirit. She kept checking in with us. She's probably the best employee of the whole office -- ofcourse the rest were good too but she's just wonderful. Dr. Filutowski was amazing. He is so professional and so friendly and made the experience extremely easy and comfortable for me. He is probably the best eye doctor in town. I would recommend him to everyone who needs lasik or smart.

Had Lasik done here on 12/8/2016, came a week before for all the tests. Staff is completely professional and surprisingly efficient. Dr. F is amazing, I was a bit scared going in for surgery but he is very calming and radiates competence. Today is 12/9/2016 and I have very little discomfort and 20/20 vision. It's a great feeling.

I cannot express my satisfaction with Dr. Filutowski and his team! Words simply cannot describe how thankful I am. I have worn glasses since I was five. Ever since then, my vision steadily declined. I have always been self conscious of wearing thick and heavy glasses but had no choice since I needed them to see. Without glasses I cannot see faces, cars, signs etc. Once I started high school, I was able to start wearing contacts. At the time, this was the best thing in the world since I didn't have to wear thick glasses. Unfortunately, within a year of wearing contacts I grew a bacterial infection on both eyes which never allowed me to wear contacts again. This bacterial infection was scraped off which made my cornea very thin. After this experience, I accepted the fact that I will have to wear glasses for the rest of my life. As my prescription kept getting worse, so did the thickness of my glasses. I got to the point that I did not like taking pictures of myself due to the way I looked. I always wanted to get Lasik but knew I needed to have my prescription stay the same to be eligible. I recently got engaged in Oct 2019 and knew it was time to correct my vision. My glasses at the time were -8.0 on my left eye and -8.5 on my right eye. I scheduled an appointment for a Lasik consultation at the Filutowski Eye Institute on July 28, 2020. As I arrived, I was greeted by the staff and checked in. Dr. Keast was the doctor for my vision correction consultation. He informed me that I would not be a candidate for Lasik due to my thin cornea from the bacterial growth back in 2007. Heart broken with this news, Dr. Keast scheduled for me to go back the same week to see Dr. Filutowski. On July 31, 2020 I was able to get good news from Dr. Filutowski about a procedure that I was candidate for. The procedure is called ICL (implantable contact lens). Not having any knowledge of this, Dr. Filutowski explained the procedure and what it involved. It turned out that my prescription was -9.5 on my left eye and -11.5 on my right eye. After he explained the ICL procedure and informed me that this will be the best surgery for me, I knew this was going to be a dream come true! I did some research that afternoon and later in the day I decided to move forward with the process. The lens had to be ordered and made for me. My counselor Tara called me to let me know the lens were in. I was ecstatic with this news and scheduled the next available ICL surgery for both eyes which was September 8, 2020. The procedure itself was less than 10 mins per eye! Everyone was always making sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions. My eyes were sightly blurry after the procedure, but I had no pain during or after. October 8, 2020, marks one month after having my surgery and I have no pain, no blurred vision and just a smile on my face. My vision is incredibly sharp and crystal clear. Many reviews say the see the world in HD 4K and now I understand why! On my last visit I found out I can see 20/15 vision which is better than 20/20! After 22 years of having glasses and not being able to see, to hear I have better than 20/20 vision is such an emotional experience. Dr. Filutowski and his team have given me the gift of clear vision and it is something I am forever grateful for.
