This office takes advantage of people. My daughter visited for a basic eye exam which was covered 100% by her insurance and they charged her a $40 copay. She was blaming the insurance company but after speaking with them she found out the office coded it as her being seen for a concern and not just an annual eye exam. When the insurance rep called and spoke with the office they advised it was a follow up for a concern and she had never even been there before. Scammers.

My husband and I had appointments at 2:30 & 3:30. I called the day before to cancel my husband's 2:30 appointment but specifically said that I would stilll be there at 3:30 for my appointment. The lady on the phone (Jamie) said Ok, no problem. Today I show up at 3:30 for my appointment and Jamie told me that my appointment was at 2:30, I said no I cancelled the 2:30 appointment yesterday. She walked behind the counter and yelled from the back that there was a miscommunication that she canceled my appointment instead of my husband's. Jamie was so rude, when I told her that I had taken off of work for this appointment, she said "well I'm sorry" rudely. Offered no apology for canceling the wrong appointment and costing me time off of work for no reason. I've been going to an eye doctor in Jacksonville for years, but thought that I would support our local Optometrist this time. The rude and unprofessional front office staff at this office cost this doctor two new patients. I also had two co workers who said they wanted to try Dr. Phillips based on my experience today. After this experience they said they would not go here. I left a message for the doctor to call me and haven't heard back. I never met Dr. Phillips, he is probably a great doctor, but his office staff made a terrible first impression and unfortunately ruined it for me.

Excellent optometrist! Takes the time to do an excellent exam and explain all his findings. Highly recommend! Also fantastic at removing metal shavings from the eye! My husband has had metal removed from his eye there several times. Awesome doctor!

I love love love Dr Phillips and the staff ESPECIALLY JORDAN!! They are beyond sweet , understanding and professional. Let's talk about Dr.Phillips he is not only kind, he talks with his eyes and treats you like a person. I hope he never retires LOL. He has wonderful mannerism, explains things to you and is just a wonderful Dr. I love the whole staff, Jordan and OF COURSE Dr.Phillips.

Fantastic and kind staff and Dr.! New to area and they fit me right in for new patient exam. Dr. found a spot on eye and expedited further testing. Turn out to be scar tissue. Glad I found Dr. Roberts and his team!

Excellent and courteous staff. Dr Phillips is very thorough and takes time to explain the issues. I am confident in his knowledge and ability.

Used him for years device is a 5 ....but only reason not a 5 star is frame selection is small.

Iv had glasses since i was 5yrs old this is hands down the best place you could go.
