Every time I walk into the office, I'm greeted with a warm smile. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Dr. Chris is the only eye doctor I've ever had who actually makes the exam fun--he has a great sense of humor and is truly excellent at what he does. I recommend this practice to everyone. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

I have been going to Dr. Charnell whe he was on staff at Visionworks in Altamonte Springs. He is the best of the best and, I usually have a great experience; however, the front desk staff seemed unfriendly this time. I received no greeting when I arrived, and my good morning went unanswered, which felt rude and unprofessional.

My daughter thought she had something in her eye and it was clearly irritated, so I called them hoping that someone would be able to see her the same day. I had tried a couple other places that were a bit closer to us who all said they couldn't take her. Lake Howell Eye Associates saw us within 30 minutes of me calling! The staff was so warm and welcoming, checked us in quickly, and got her right back to see the doctor. The doctor was great with her, and he quickly found and removed whatever it was that was irritating her eye. You could literally see the instant relief it brought her. We weren't there long, but for our entire appointment she was so well cared for. We're very grateful!

The doctor was great but the women who works the front desk is oddly passive aggressive and treated me rudely on 3 occasions during my visit. She should learn "its not what you say but how you say it". I was so turned off i took my script and will be ordering my lenses/frames through another provider.

Since my first written review apparently didn't come through, I decided to try again because I was so impressed with this experience. After using a chain optometrist for several years, I visited Lake Howell Eye Associates because I had been having double vision issues and wanted a more complete exam. I found the office personnel both helpful professional, and Dr. Charnell provided the most comprehensive exam I have ever had. I greatly appreciated his efforts to diagnose the reason for my double vision and his attempts to find a solution that would help alleviate the problem. The result was great; I love my new glasses, and my double vision has become much less bothersome. I also appreciated the friendly staff who were patient and knowledgeable enough to get some financial help from Medicare that I did not realize I was eligible for. I am beyond pleased to have found a new eye care office that also cares for me as a person!
