The Optical Shoppe

We were in Marathon for a conference and on the morning we were leaving, the nose guard on my wife's glasses broke in two. After calling around to other shops in the area, we were referred to The Optical Shoppe. The owner's/operators were FANTASTIC. Since we were on a time crunch to leave to get to the Ft Lauderdale airport, one of the owners had to come in to the shop from another commitment in order to repair my wife's glasses. If you are in the Marathon area and ever need optical assistance, and you want a place with over the top customer service, I highly recommend The Optical Shoppe.

My husband broke his frames and the shop stayed open late until we arrived, so kind and considerate! Fabulous people and certainly made our vacation with my husband's new frames. This place is the best!

Needed an emergency fix for my glasses while on vacation - discount on new frames and my lenses were swapped out and fitted within 15 minutes! Highly recommend for anyone in the same situation.

My frames were broken and the lens were falling out. I went to the optometrist office that I had used many years ago. I was told there was nothing they could do, suggested I get a new pair of glasses for $700 and shamed for not having a backup pair. I then went to a local jeweler to see if my frames could be soldered and it didn't work. They sent me to this office. When I walked in I was nearly in tears because I literally could not see and needed a fix of some sort. Jeanie listened to my situation, took my glasses and began searching through their frame inventory. She found a pair of frames and replaced my lenses without difficulty. A couple weeks later I went in for an exam and new frames. She ran my insurance and my lenses and frames were a total of $166 unlike the $700 the other office was going to charge me. This will forever be my new optometrist and glasses shop. I have never had such a good pair of glasses. Dr Cremata was beyond amazing. This office knows what they are doing, cares for their customers and goes above and beyond to earnestly help in an emergency situation. If you need a new pair of glasses I encourage you to give them a try.

Down in the keys on vacation and lost the nose pad on my Maui Jim sunglasses. Called and stopped by a few places trying to get a replacement or fix. The T-shirt City store cashier suggested The Optical Shoppe. I called and they said they could help me out. Quick trip to the store ( ocean side) and 3 minutes later, I'm good to go at no cost!! KEYS hospitality!! Much appreciated Th Optical Shoppe !

Got a great pair of Maui's here after west marine couldn't even tell me what frames could take a prescription lens. My friend knocked one of the lenses out a few days later via aggressive bear hug and the shop fixed them up super quick. If you need a new pair of shades this is your place, they were a life saver for my fishing.
