Dr. Stern's Visual Health Centers

Beware! Abysmal and DISHONEST. Did not keep to appointment time for exam made two weeks in advance. Then, when I tried to purchase lenses for imported Italian frames that I already own they refused to do so under my insurance coverage claiming that I had to purchase lenses and frames. That was a lie. When I challenged this dreadful woman she said that it was company policy but that she would give me a 25% discount on frames. That is misleading because members of my insurance group are entitled to a discount already. I neither require nor want any of their tacky frames. They were prepared to overcharge me. Apparently they count on people being stupid. The vision center is within a depressing Humana clinic and does not have its own waiting area. For some reason it requires a uniformed security guard. Very chic,

I've had a great experience visiting the office. Very friendly and accommodating front desk and nice and knowledgeable Doctor Stern. I was in and out in 30 minutes which included comprehensive eye exam and frame selection. Highly recommend this office.

I had a visit at this location today. Barbara is absolutely fantastic and did everything she could to get me in asap because I thought I had a serious scratch in my eye. I saw Dr. Jessica Pitts, she took her time and explained everything that was going on. I was in and out in under 25 minutes. Thank you for your help!!
