Gould Vision

I love this place! They are so kind, thoughtful and thorough. My insurance changed last year and they went above and beyond figuring out my new insurance and making sure my out-of-pocket costs were minimized. Dr. Gould and Julie are the best!!! Amazing service. Highly recommend.

I recently returned to Gould's Optical for my periodic eye exam and to update the lenses in my current frames. The staff, as always, was professional and welcoming, and the appointment was efficient and well-organized. They are always available for assistance on insurance, recommendations for lenses and frames, and all things optical. What I really appreciate is their conservative approach to eye care--they don't rush into changes unless they're truly necessary. Over time, they've carefully monitored the changes in my vision and overall eye health, which gives me a lot of confidence in their recommendations. I will definitely be returning in future months and years and recommend them to others looking for reliable, attentive service.

My family has been using Gould Vision for many years and love them! The staff is incredibly knowledgable and attentive and each of them has a wonderful eye for picking exactly the right frames. Dr. Gould and Dr. Rose are methodical in their exams and take the time to carefully review any issues you care to discuss. We could not be more thrilled with how they all care for us and our vision!

The first time I went was a good experience. This last time was really bad. The first prescription by a substitute doctor was a disaster, therefore I had to go back for another exam with Dr Gould, the prescription is still off. There's one lady that works there who is nice, but the others are rude. After spending around $3,000 I cannot see with the glasses. Total disaster. I do not recommend it. A complete waste of my money and my time.

The best! First time there and everybody was awesome! Dr. was a bit late but once it was my turn, she gave me all her attention and explain everything with detail. Staff helped me to learn how to put and take off my new contacts, with lots of patience. I highly recommend Gould Vision. EDITED: Went back to see Dr. Adina Gould for a followed up and I am so happy I did she is awesome and took the time to make sure I got what I needed it! I've been going to Gould Vision for the last 4-5 years and have always had good experiences, which is why today's visit was so disappointing. This was my first time seeing their new male optometrist (I apologize as I don't recall his name), and I have never been spoken to by a medical professional in such a condescending manner. From the moment the exam started, I felt like I was being talked to like a child. He scolded me for occasionally sleeping in my contacts -- something I know isn't ideal -- but his tone was unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. He also made the comment, "I've never seen such bad corneas," which was extremely alarming to hear, especially considering this has never been raised as a concern during any of my previous visits over the past few years. He then attempted to pull out his phone to show me an example of what he is seeing, but when I politely reminded him that I didn't have my contacts in and couldn't see at the distance he was holding the screen, he responded with, "Oh wow, you can't see that?" I'm sorry, but I didn't realize I came here to be humiliated. I've trusted Gould Vision for years, and the rest of the team has always been wonderful, but I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. No patient should walk away feeling talked down to or embarrassed during a medical appointment.

Amazing!! I went in as an emergency and they could not have been nicer or more efficient!! From the desk to the techs to the Dr, loved them all!! I definitely have a new eye DR!

Been going for about 7 years now and always great service they make you feel like family thank you to the staff they are amazing. Had these redone with polarizer amazing job !!!
