I have been a patient at this office for most of my life. I was one of the first patients when the office opened. Dr Joseph Trentacoste has been my doctor, a family friend, a sounding board, and a saving grace. He diagnosed my RP and has been my champion every step of the way. Dr. Trentacoste has always taken the time to nurture his time and relationships with his patients. He always has an open ear and never gives false hope. Everyone who works in this office is like family, the staff to each other and many times they are like family to us, the patients. I value the support I've received from these wonderful people over the years. This is how doctors should treat patients, and how patients should feel when receiving medical treatment, like they are always shaking a familiar hand. I trust the doctors and staff here enough to refer my friends and family, knowing full well that when eye care becomes a concern, they are in the hands of the very best. My husband is coming up on his first visit with Dr. Trentacoste soon. An eye care visit with your blind wife's doctor can seem like a scary moment, but my husband draws his strength from my confidence in these incredible people. I know that if he has anything to worry about, I'm taking him to a place that will make sure he understands what is going on and how it will be handled. That kind of confidence speaks volumes about those who work here and the way they take care of their patients. I wish more doctors and supporting staff practiced medicine this way. I can't say enough amazing things about them. They've been by my side through the worst diagnosis of my life. I have never felt alone. I have never felt hopeless. This is a wonderful eye care center. I recommend them to those who are looking for excellence.

Great office, great energy! I called with an emergency, they were caring and receptive they told me to come in right away. The office staff was amazing, the doctor was wonderful he dedicated a significant amount of time to examine my eye and was great at giving me the good news after very careful and comprehensive evaluation of my eye. I am pleased to have met this amazing doctor and the entire staff 10/10. I will recommend this office to the people I love, my family and friends. Grateful!

Last night I had flashing lights on the peripheral vision of one eye. I looked it up in the web and it said it could be normal sign of aging or it could be the beginning of a tear of the retina and I should see a doctor ASAP. This morning as soon as the Miami Eye Care Center opened, I called and, despite it being the start of a holiday, they told me to come in right away. I did and was seen within a few minutes. The retina is fine and it is just normal, to be ignored unless there is a drastic change. The office staff and Dr. Zambrano Jr. were just very helpful and professional.

Extremely Professional,Attentive. My wait wasn't long at all. I was having an issue with my left eye.I Called and they actually said, How Soon can you get here! Much Appreciated. P.S. my photo is awful But it's me!!

Dr Acuna explained the status of my eyes in a common sense, easy to understand detail. He provided an excellent framework to make an informed decision on cataract surgery. He was very personable & gave plenty of time to answer my questions & concerns. It was an excellent experience.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from your front desk staff during my recent visit. While the doctors treated me very well and I was satisfied with their care, the experience with the front desk was extremely disappointing. I have provided my vision insurance information (UnitedHealthcare) more than three months ago. However, during my visit, the staff did not even review it. Instead, they attempted to charge me directly, disregarding my coverage. When I explained and showed them my insurance details, their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. They insisted on charging me the full copay, displaying poor customer service and a lack of courtesy. I should not be forced to pay out of pocket when I have valid vision insurance. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and corrected, and that staff receive proper training to ensure patients are treated with respect and their insurance information is properly handled. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and a resolution.

My experience was excellent. I came in as a emergency and I was very nervous about my vision and Dr. Acurnla & the staff were very helpful and I felt very confident about vision problem was addressed with a very thorough assessment and I felt that I had an excellent understanding and I felt reassured. Thank Goodness I went to this practice.

I would not recommend this place. Booking the appointment was easy and they took my insurance. The front desk staff were very involved in personal chatter I am not sure how they get anything done. After waiting for a while I was let into the first exam room. You can see the video for yourself. It was covered with religious imagery. While I don't personally mind anyones religious beliefs it was so heavy it made me feel uncomfortable. I don't believe it's professional at all. The rest of the office was also very dated think late 80's 90's since this place was remodeled. The doctor also made very little effort to discuss my issues with me. Rather he talked at the nurse who made notes. I felt like my issue, which is serious (half of my face is paralyzed) was dismissed.
