Great people who are friendly and really care. Dr. Jochum saved my eyesight. How can I not be grateful. And, as busy as he is, he never rushes you. He gives you his time fully and clearly explains everything he does or is going to do. The staff works wonderfully as a team enabling you to get through the process as quickly as possible. Wonderful, caring group of professionals.

I had a great experience with Dr. Jochum and his team. The office staff was friendly, welcoming, and very professional from the moment I arrived. Dr. Jochum was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. I truly felt well cared for during my visit. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent ophthalmologist!

I would like to formally share my concerns regarding the experience my mother had today with Dr. Grubbs. My mother does not speak English. I typically attend her appointments to translate for her; however, due to work obligations, I was unable to be present. My daughter accompanied her instead, but she does not speak Spanish. Unfortunately, when Dr. Grubbs learned of the situation he was immediately very rude and started speaking loudly as of that would help my mother understand English. He even made the comment that he hates when these people don't bring in a translator. Clear communication in healthcare is essential. Patients should never feel confused, vulnerable, or unsupported because of a language barrier. The refusal to ask for translation assistance by your Doctor demonstrated a lack of consideration for her needs as a non-English-speaking patient. Every patient deserves respect, dignity, and equal access to clear communication with their physician. Additionally, the overall bedside manner during the appointment was disappointing. Compassion, professionalism, and patient-centered care are fundamental standards in healthcare, and this experience did not reflect those principles.

Dr. Grubbs is fantastic! He is very thorough and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why he recommends something. The front desk and appointment staff are also wonderful. As was our intake person, Mike. I would also highly recommend Josh in the optical area for glasses. He is very knowledgeable and happy to help. Overall, this clinic is a great spot with super doctors and staff.

I injured my eye and from my urgent call in I new I was in good hands. The entire office was professional, caring, kind, and knowledgeable. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of me. I would not go anywhere else.

I am well pleased with the the entire visit, from setting my appointment via a phone call, to checking in the day of my visit and the entire staff. The facilities were pleasant and spacious to walk through easily. The parking lot and space was easy to get in and out of.

This is mostly for Dr.Jochum. The day I came to see you I was impressed with your staff and you.Then I had to meet with Bonnie. Oh boy!. She's a rude know it all that cuts people off mid sentence when they're trying to talk to her like I was trying to say my insurance will change Jan.2026 she says before I can finish I know. Then tried to tell her I've changed where I get my prescription she interrupts with I know. She's handing me papers so fast she might as well thrown them at me. I called Monday 1/5/26 and said this Jackie Bowes she jumps in oh are you ready to schedule. I said no I'm already set up. I was asking about having you send the insurance company a letter on the Trifocal helping me because I'm blind in one and other I'm nearsighted farsighted and astigmatism. She says oh he won't do that and they won't cover the Trifocal so we don't even bother. REALLY! I called back later and asked to speak to you when you had time or the end of your day. That was Monday this is now Friday and I've yet to hear from you and all I wanted to ask is the regular lense going to help at all and they say they pay for a contact after cataract surgery but I have astigmatism. Patient services need improvement without a doubt.

I went there for a cataract surgery. Frienly staff and great work!. They perfectly took care of me during preparation, surgery and aftercare. Going to have my other eye done in some weeks. Looing forward to having both eyes fixed. I can strongly recomment Florida eye clinic
