I recently visited Stanton Optical for new glasses and was lucky enough to work with Miranda. She was patient, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure my prescription and fit were perfect. It's rare to find such personalized service these days. If you're in the Orange City area, definitely check them out and ask for Miranda!

First I'd like to say that the staff are wonderful, very friendly and chatty. Five stars just for them if I could. Unfortunately, that's were the good part of the review ends. I would advise anyone who reads this to NOT go to this place for any reason. If it's the only place close in network, drive out of town if you have to. There is NO DOCTOR on site. The doctor is on a monitor hanging on the wall in the exam room. No, I'm not joking. You will not get dilated or any semblance of a thorough eye exam. The virtual doctor had an extremely thick Indian accent which was extremely hard to understand. I'm not sure how this is even legal.

Marissa & her team were extremely educated, efficient, professional, kind and friendly. I set up an appointment for my husband that had an outdated eye prescription (past 2 yrs) she walked him through with expert advice and help. The entire process took 1.5-2 hours and he left with a brand new prescription and a sets of two very beautiful and fair priced frames. We knew the frames would take about four business days to arrive and he had a work trip coming up, she kindly offered him a loaner frame with his current lens. We are so thankful for this loaner frames, as his older frames were broken and chipped. I highly recommend this location in Orange City. Tysm for your help ! He sees much better and loves his new frames. Stylish and youthful.

I had an excellent experience with Miranda at Stanton Optical! I went in first time to see if my insurance was accepted to do a well eye exam. She was very professional and patient with me while I was checking my policy documents and explained to me that we can do an eye exam and if I needed glasses then they can help me submit a claim to my insurance and match my policy, which I declined since I don't like dealing with insurance much. A few days later I was sitting in the neighboring Starbucks and she happened to see me and walked up to me and asked if I had my eyes checked yet, and offered me a free exam when she learned that I didn't. I took her up on the offer and I went back to Stanton and I definitely can say the eye exam process was excellent. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out and made the whole visit smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciate her outstanding customer service and highly recommend asking for Miranda if you visit Stanton Optical! Also kudos to Jessica for the great professionalism and knowledge doing the eye exam.

Just moving here from Texas my husband and I couldn't have entered a more welcoming Stanton location!! Miranda was absolutely fabulous and so professional. Madeline jumped right in and was so passionate about her job. These ladies make this location top notch. What great teamwork. We had to drive an hour to get there and couldn't have asked for better welcoming experience. Thank you Stanton for providing such great employees.

I can't thank this staff enough for what they did for me. I was from out of town, and had to stay unexpectedly. I was running out of my daily contacts. With your kindness and help I was able to stay by my father's side. You are all appreciated. I am so grateful!

Unorganized. The DR exams are through a webcam. You may save money here, but the headache personally is not worth it. I purchased two pair of glasses after doing an exam. Got a text a week later to come pick up. After arriving they told me only one pair was ready, and the prescription turned out to be incorrect. They told me they'd send the pair out to be fixed and should be ready within a couple of weeks. I went back yesterday to pick up my second pair that WAS ready (and luckily was done correctly) and inquired if the other pair should be returning soon or if it already came back fixed. I was told a manager would call me. I was asked a few times if I had already taken home the first pair and I explained multiple times I did not, because they had to be fixed. They called me back and stated they hadn't sent out the initial pair that needed fixing yet and apologized. So I have to go back a 4th time to pick up my glasses and hopefully they are correct this time. My fiance also brought in a pair of frames to have lenses installed after he had an exam with them, and after almost 3 weeks he came in today to pick them up, the prescription wasn't correct. They offered to repeat his exam. He declined and asked for a refund, which they are sending in the mail apparently. We both are very untrusting at this point. The quality of care is poor, and when it comes to eyeglass prescriptions, should be dealt with seriously. Find another reputable company who conducts eye exams with a doctor in person.
