My two boys and I have been coming here for a few years now. We love Dr Wright and his optometric technician who does the pre testing. They take the time to explain and walk you through everything. They are patient with my seven year old. Overall, Dr Wright has a wonderful bedside manner and is quite jovial. He is realistic in what tests are needed based on age and the evaluation of the individual. The office staff is also wonderful and cost conscious too!

The Doctor and the staff were nice and professional. The Doctor answered all my questions I asked. The Lady who takes care of the glasses was very helpful in helping me pick out the right pair of glasses explained all the pricing in detail. There was no high pressure sales which for me is a turn off. I would highly recommend these folks. Mr. Martinez

The office is very well run. The check in process, intake and visit just on time and very pleasant experience. The staff are very professional and kind. Dr Tamsett-Schmidt is very thorough and excellent eye doctor. Exam was very detailed and she spend time to explain and make recommendations.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at this office. It was too late to cancel my appointment due to me testing positive again for a contagious illness same day as my appointment. Even with a doctor's note, I was told the late cancellation fee would not be waived. I have no history of missed or canceled appointments, but the general manager stated that "those are the rules" and offered no flexibility or understanding. The interaction felt dismissive and lacked empathy. In addition, I had paid in full for a new pair of glasses prior to speaking to the manager and signed a non-refundable agreement, expecting to come back in a few weeks to pick up my order. I later received a call informing me that the same manager told staff not to place my order and asked me if I wanted to cancel it. This was especially frustrating given that I had already paid and followed their policy. It appears that the office selectively applies its policies when it suits them. I would not recommend this office.

Fantastic experience. Everyone, the front staff (I think it was Debbie), the doctor's assistant Grace, and Dr. Wright were absolutely awesome. All my questions were answered and I felt confident in my new prescription. I'll never go anywhere else! If you've had a bad experience anywhere else or are just looking for a new optometrist, just go here. You won't regret it.

Great experience with the optometrist and the assistant, I believe her name was Gracie. She was very nice and professional! It's my second time and had great experiences both times.

First I would like to say that my eye examinations and doctor(Jay), earned a 5 star rating, whom I saw about 3 weeks ago. I go into the office this morning to have prescription lens removed from one frame to another. I felt I was asking someone to give me heart surgery. I have had my eye examinations there the past 2 years. I actually thought this was a service i had to pay for. I was given every reason for her not to provide the service. Even telling me to take it back to the va to have them replace it. I left there very disappointed, only to find another optical company around the corner (Clay Eye) who completed my request in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, my first attempt, I choose a lazy library location. Clay eye has a new customer.

Dr Jill & staff are top notch. You receive the best possible care with Dr Jill. She makes you feel relaxed & comfortable in her presence. Her staff is equally friendly & professional. I been seeing Dr Jill since she started at Island Care approximately 20 years ago. My husband & I totally trust her care.
