Dr. Willingham is caring, compassionate, and goes above and beyond for his patients. He has a great bedside manner and spends time explaining everything to patients. His staff is top tier and extra kind!

I was getting mistreated over the phone & calling in an emergency post Cataract Removal & learned I had Macular Degeneration- His tech/receptionist just kept asking "me" if it was an emergency and I gave her all the symptoms & she kept trying to find anyway to not validate my fears and concerns and post-op. I also got a fake kind comment posting my review. I called mos later and Dr. Willingham was incredibly mean. Said "water go to Gainesville". My entire vitrous gel detached from my retina and thank God that one was a clean tear i learned months later. Couple years later my left eye is hung in a partial tear. We have only 2 to choose from and they refused to treat me well or validate the symptoms. There's only so many symptoms you can name and it's scary. They treated me like a hypochondriac. I'm also a survivor of 2 strokes. I don't communicate as well as I once did. Sadly, they seemed to derive pleasure whilst I was in pain and scared. I was shocked I was being asked the same questions- she simply wanted to find a reason to minimize my my symptoms. Which became facts.

I had a large floater in my right eye that stayed for 4 months. It really affected my work and all I tried to do. I had been referred by the VA to another "eye doctor". She told me there's nothing I can do, you'll have to get use to it or maybe it will go away!! That wasn't an option for me! A friend had gone to Dr. Willingham and highly recommended him. I am happy to say, he did remove it and I can see even better! Thank you!

Dr. Willingham and his entire staff are a great team. If it wasn't for him I know I would be blind. Him and his staff are so friendly and made me feel at ease during each injection or procedure they performed on my eyes. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had a detached retina and my regular eye doctor referred me to Dr. Willingham immediately. Dr. WILLINGHAM confirmed the diagnosis and scheduled a reattachment surgery quickly. His surgery was very successful. I have new eyeglasses with an updated prescription. Dr. Willingham saved my eyesight. I recommend to anyone with retina issues.

I strongly recommend Dr Willingham. I had a detached retina and he operated on it almost immediately where the emergency room told me to see my optometrist. If you are having unusual vision problems don't hesitate, make an appointment. He is a very professional and thank God he knows his stuff. He left no stone unturned in my treatment I'm very thankful to him and his really nice staff. They saved my sight!
