Eye Center: Garland Paul E MD

Had an appointment from Tallahassee, had a long drive to get there. The man was upset from the start claiming he doesn't normally take children (child's age is 14). I don't understand why they would accept the appointment then. My child asked normal questions like, "how long will it take?" and "Will it hurt?" and he told him, "It will take longer if you keep asking questions" and "I'll fire you as a patient." He also seemed to think it was okay to speak to another patient about our issues and had them come in to talk to us about the experience, unprovoked. Besides the HIPAA violation and the unprofessional demeanor, his staff was great. Avoid, if you can, by all means.

Dr Garland and the entire staff at the Eye Center are very caring and friendly. I have been a patient there for several years. I had Laser treatment there last week and can see better than I have in many years. You can trust them to be knowledgeable and professional in everything they do.

He got very short with me over nothing..maybe his day wasn't going well..i will stick with him, because dont want to change in middle of procedures..rt.eye has yet to be done

My mother was treated so poorly this morning and called a liar by this man. The office made a mistake, he made a mistake and tried to make it her mistake. His behavior was...well I choose not to expand!
