I had an excellent experience at this eye doctor's office. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The doctor was thorough, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I truly appreciated. The exam was efficient without feeling rushed, and the office was clean and well organized. I left feeling confident about my eye health and the care I received. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality eye care. Ana was amazing at helping me pick out my frames and finalize my order. .

Mischelle & Sara were amazing!! I walked in asking if I could get my Ray-Ban sunglasses fixed. They were crooked because I accidentally sat on them. Mischelle was quick with a good laugh to start the process & fixed my glasses in under 3 mins. Sara was so accommodating as well. What a great duo & team! Thank you, MyEyeDr! My husband and I have gone to the MyEyeDr location in Plant City for over 10 years. We started with Dr. Buffano and then Dr. Thao Ho, and they were both excellent providers. On 2/9/26 we were both scheduled for our annual exam with Dr. Patel. Upon arrival, the manager presented us with a form going over the costs. We were both declining the retinal photo ($39 each out of pocket) and I explained I had it done with Ophthalmologist in December and it was normal. The manager said if we didn't pay this out of pocket cost, they would not be able to bill our insurance for a comprehensive exam, nor provide us with a new Rx. I told her this has always been offered as an option, not a requirement. We told her we would not agree and she pulled the clipboard away and that was that, we left. I then called my optical insurance company, EyeMed and was told this was NOT a requirement. I noted a provider complaint with EyeMed and made an appointment with Dr. Gaffney. Customer service gets a ZERO and two long time customers have moved on.

I want to give a shout out to the manager, Sara. She has done a great job at managing this location and keeping it courteous. I really appreciate her kind and professional manner. I highly recommend this location!

I've been a patient at this facility for the past 12 years and am overall satisfied with My Eye Doctor Plant City location. The ease of setting an appointment and updating my prescription, plus the variety of contact and glasses options help those of us without vision insurance. The only issue I could say is that the doctor and staff turn around is quite frequent. The doctor I had this time seemed possibly knowledgeable but, her bedside manner could surely use some better effort. Typical, but not a deal breaker at this point in my adult years and the staff up front makes up for it.
