Dr. Kostick truly takes his field to a mastery level. He comes highly recommended by his peers and other patients. He truly takes his time with each patient to ensure the highest level of care is provided. My personal experience was nothing less that exceptional. I had a MOHS procedure below my lower left eye just at the water line. Very dicey area to reconstruct. On day 2 po op , my sutures look fantastic. He artfully placed them in the crease of my existing crease ( aka crows foot) to minimize appearance of scaring. I had my day after post op appointment with him. He examined the surgical site , demonstrated proper application of medicinal ointment and reaffirmed my post op instructions . Follow these instructions to the letter for optimal outcome. I would recommend Dr Kostick to both friends and family or travel from out of state to be attended by him. Dr. Kostick , thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of me. I am truly grateful for you and your expertise. Ann

Dr. David A. Kostick is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1989. He then went on to complete his internship and ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic in 1993, followed by a 2-year fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at West Virginia University. Immediately following his training, he joined the ophthalmology department at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida where he served as Assistant Professor and Consultant of Ophthalmology for 16 years.
