Your professional staff and modern facility was not only impressive, but I was able to get in and out in under 40 minutes, which could've been a much more lengthy your visit given it was an afternoon appointment. Kudos to you and your staff and Dr. Pei-Wen Lawing was wonderful, thorough, and answered all of my questions; even the ones I didn't know I had. Absolutely amazing!

The staff is awesome. From the front desk to all the ones handling your exams and tests. Dr Barnhorst is able to make my wife feel at ease by answering all of her questions. He made her feel important, that she was his major concern. She definitely chose the right Dr for her surgery. Kudos to all.

Amicable staff, but that does not always equate to either competence in procedure, prognosis, policies (written or unwritten) transparency, & treatment. In lieu of some blurred vision & partial vision loss, & enlarged optic nerve, . the optometrist recommended being evaluated by the ER for stroke protocol, indicating they would not move forward to their in-house ophthalmologist for further evaluation. After spending thousands of dollars at the ER, ruling out stroke, I elected a different Optometrist/Optometrist the very next day. It is subjective, but found the experience level a cut above. The experienced ophthalmologist determined that the enlarged optic nerve was not blood pressure related, indicated what he believed I had was fairly common, & performed a treatment immediately. I may not get total vision recovery but am likely to see progress.. I will be going back next month for continued treatment. So why couldn't this have happened at Florida Ete? Why couldn't an ophthalmologist see me to determine my condition? Why did I have to spend thousands of dollars unnecessarily? I don't know Florida Eyes in-house policies, what they determine as being high risk for themselves, but I know they will never see me again.
