This is the worst practice I have ever been to. I have a referral from a neurologist to see ophthalmologist. They told me I need a prior authorization from my primary care doctor. I called my insurance company and they said I do not need that and it's an office policy. They would not see me because I did not have a prior authorization for my primary care doctor, even though, I have a referral from a neurologist to see an ophthalmologist. What an absolute joke. This is not a complaint about the insurance company. Actually, it's a complaint about the incompetence and terrible policy of office.

Pedro, the techs and the front desk were all friendly and helpful for my first time going to an eye doctor. I knew I needed a new prescription but they figured out what I needed quickly and I'm super thankful!

Overall, horrible service. Adding on unnecessary testing to drive up the bill and customer cost $. Unprofessional customer service, Oh and the billing department had this lady who barks, does not speak, VERY RUDE. NO ONE RETURNS CALLS EXCEPT TO COLLECT MONEY. THE PLACE HAS BECOME VERY MONEY GRUBBING, NO PATIENT CARE!!!

I have been using this clinic for a year now. The doctors are great, the help staff were little speedy going through their routine nonchalantly. I was asked to come back few months later to have a cataract surgery as it was "little too soon" at the time. I drove back and forth from hunters creek to St. Cloud in a horrendous traffic just to be informed that they no longer accept my insurance. They made me an appointment, texted to confirm, stressing $200 penalty for no show. They never bothered to call and cancel. That was unprofessional and I am afraid sign of incompetence. I went to different ophthalmologist, the preliminary checks with the assistants were lot more thorough. The doctor upon examination determined that no cataract procedure was needed at that time.

What horrible customer service. I made an appointment at Eye Florida for an eye exam. I completed all the paperwork including insurance information prior to arrival. After two phone calls and six text messages confirming my appointment, I arrived. Once I gave my name the receptionist responded with "they kicked it out". I said, "excuse me" and she again responded with "they kicked it out". I responded, "I don't understand", she then asked if I'd been to "another ophthalmologist this year", I said "no", she then repeated the question and I again said no. Then she asked if I'd seen an ophthalmologist in the last year and I said "yes, here." She finally explained that "the insurance kicked it out because you had an appointment in the last year". Now I understand and canceled my appointment. Why she didn't say that up front or it wasn't communicated prior to my arrival in the multiple communications I don't know. It's just frustrating to do everything ahead of time, drive to the facility and then be turned away. They are still texting me after I left to see if I'm coming to my appointment.

The doctors and staff at Eye Florida St Cloud, Fl are exceptional. The office staff are fantastic. Both my husband and I have had routine visits plus cataract surgery through them and are very pleased. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you. Bob & Liz M.

Let me start by saying that Dr. Nguyen is an awesome doctor, very knowledgeable and very professional. She took care of my husband, did cataract surgery on him, and explained everything with so much detail, and for that, we are forever grateful. Now, the reason for my 1-star rating is because of some staff members, only some, because the others are great. Let me name a few reasons: 1. They believe they own the place (no respect for others that are there). 2. Extremely rude (especially the lady from the billing department). 3. Do not listen to any concerns (they just brush you off). 4. Very unprofessional (bashing patients through the phone while the office is full of patients). Today my husband had an appointment with a brand new insurance (mind you is the one for Orlando Health for Disney employees) and someone put a note that he needed a referral, how is this even possible when we are covered through the entire Orlando Health Network? Not to mention that he has been a patient of the office for a few years now and the insurance has never been used. This information was given to them when he made the appointment a few weeks ago. But no, they needed to verify the insurance and came to him claiming they'd been for 30 minutes on the phone waiting for someone, so the appointment needed to be canceled. This appointment was very important as it was requested by my husband's retinologist and now, we need to find a new ophthalmologist and start all over again. Again, Dr. Nguyen is great, but she can lose a lot by having inadequate staff members who do not care for the patients or her, only themselves.

They have one of the best eye doctors there Dr Lyn but every time I go there it's a 2-hour to an hour 45 minute wait. It's crazy. I really want to see this eye doctor but you really have to be patient cuz the wait time is incredibly long
