This was my first visit, and I truly appreciated the level of care, kindness, and thoroughness from Dr. LaRue. Everything was smooth from check-in until I left my appointment. I will definitely be returning and have already added appointments for my kids.
Dr. LaRue explained everything clearly so I could fully understand, paused to ask if I had questions, and provided helpful next steps for preventative care. She was very personable and didn't make me feel like she was just "doing her job." She took her time with me, and the visit never felt rushed.
The nurse who completed the exams was also kind and explained each test and what it was for. The front desk staff was personable as well, ensuring I had my next appointment scheduled and helping me book visits for all three of my kids.
Overall, I will definitely be returning!

I have never been this impressed with knowledge and service. It started with Jennifer- I was so impressed on how hard she was working to get the information needed for my specific needs. The Then doctor DrAalu was very calming for me. Through my major eye changes she explained everything to me . Then we reviewed the strategies to keep my sight safe. Then there was Ronda who took my orders. She calculated both with the new software and here years of experience to get the right sight lines etc.9 And then I wasn't prepared for a glucose issue that came on and Marbella happened to have baked homemade small cookies that saved the day. Probably the most important thing was how they work as a team. Don't have photos because I just ordered all of my glasses.

I love the personal care that comes with a local business that's been around for years & not one of those eyeglass stores on every corner. Insight optical really takes the time to assess your needs and asks a lot of questions about how you're doing. I feel very taken care of by all the staff members. They are very knowledgeable and clear in explaining anything I don't understand. I would definitely recommend them for your next eye exam and glasses.
