I had an exceptional experience at America's Best at Durbin Park! I called hoping to be seen the same day before my vision insurance benefits expired, and from the very first moment, the team went above and beyond. Jan, the amazing receptionist, deserves huge kudos for her compassionate listening skills and outstanding customer service. She truly heard my situation and was able to get me in within the hour--so grateful for her help! Jojo checked me in and immediately made me feel welcome with his friendly and warm demeanor. Shavonne, the eye tech, was incredibly gentle, patient, and kind throughout the process, which made the experience so comfortable. Karelis in sales was knowledgeable, patient, and never rushed me, even while I was making an important financial decision--something I truly appreciated. They have an excellent and wide selection of glasses to pick from. The optometrist, Dr. Preston Starkes, was professional, well-presented, and extremely thorough. I felt confident and well cared for during my eye exam. This entire team works seamlessly together and truly cares about their patients. I am incredibly grateful for such excellent service and highly recommend America's Best at Durbin Park!

I went to the Durbin Pavilion store, Nicolas provided outstanding service. He fixed the frames on a pair of prescription sunglasses that I could no longer wear. His unselfish and professional care saved me about $265. He fixed the glasses for free and with great care and technical expertise. They are now better than new. He also has a great attitude and obviously puts the customer first. BRAVO NICOLAS and America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses!

Outstanding customer service at this site. Miss Lisa had her ducks all in a ROW! She had all the pre-exam testing down like a well oiled machine. Dr Patel was friendly and happy to answer any questions. Karelis!! What a diamond she is! Karelis was so helpful and patient. Great attitude, full of information and zeal for her profession. Such a pleasure to interact with this intelligent and happy-spirited young woman. This was the most efficient optometry appointment I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, a lovely young woman had all my paperwork ready to go. She walked me to the waiting area where I sat no longer than two minutes before I was called in by Miss Lisa. When I was done with her, Dr Patel was immediately ready to perform my exam. This entire staff is amazing and impressive. Great selection of frames and very reasonable prices. This is my first time setting foot inside America's Best and they have won themselves a loyal customer.

From start to finish, the team was professional, appreciative and just amazing. From reception, examination, MD chat, glasses purchases (I decided on a few more bells and whistles this time) and through pick up. There was a little adjustment needed, yet the team was helpful along the way. Thank you!

Karelis was exceptional. She went above and beyond assisting me with an insurance issue as well as making several calls to check the availability of a particular frame. The time she spent was indicative of an employee who truly cares about excellent customer service and satisfaction. Thank you Karelis!

My experience at this store never disappoints! The customer service is outstanding -- everyone is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and attentive. The whole team was incredibly helpful, and Joe went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair of glasses. Truly a great team and a wonderful experience every time!

Amazing kind, efficient staff. Went above and beyond to accommodate my son not only on short notice, but Mr. Woods helped my teenager for at least 20 minutes to half an hour trying to fit him for contacts. Trying to encourage my son to get it right by providing suggestions and hands on help. I felt so bad that multiple staff assisted and finally succes, from a squimish, anxious teenager nervous about sticking his finger in his eye with such a delicate contact! He will be choosing but not for a lack of trying and great help from a thoughtful staff! I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the Jacksonville area as I know they will be treated well. Thank you guys. P.S. forgot to mention that Mr. James Woods called the following morning after the fitting to see if my son was successful on the start of his day putting his new contact in!! That was extremely thoughtful and professional.

Edit: Originally gave a 5 star rating because my appointment was very smooth and the staff were very kind! My appointment was on 9/19 and my glasses were supposed to be in by 10/2. I have been without correct prescription glasses since my appointment! called three times after 10/2 (its now 10/6) and each time the front desk staff were horrible!! I called this morning and was told my glasses were STILL not in after being on hold for 5 seconds. No one asked for my information like a phone number or anything, only my name. I never received a tracking information or anything of use from them which is why I called. Called customer service corporate this morning just to be told my glasses had BEEN there and were ready!!! All times I called, I was met with a quick and swift reply that they were just not ready. Staff didn't care to really check and have wasted my time.
