Dr. Young is EXCELLENT! She has treated me for cataracts,surgery one eye 10 years ago and three weeks ago surgery on the other eye. She is patient, carefully goes through all of the steps for pre and post surgery, answers any questions and makes you feel comfortable. I trust my eyes in her hands. All of her staff is wonderful and a shout out to the whole team. Keep up the excellent work and thank you for restroing my vision twice now!!!!!!!!!

RUDE RUDE. If I could give no stars I would. PHYSICIAN young, Karen does not have no manners in speaking to a patient who clearly has a language barrier, made comments unnecessary truly disrespectful, did not explain anything regarding the exam, was not helpful especially not patience whatsoever. The minute she came into the room the attitude was clearly noticeable and seemed very irritated/annoyed. I tried to ask question to further understand on the problem and she replied in a attitude and loud way which I tried to keep my composure to not get to her level of mistreatment to speaking to a person as I was taught to speak to someone with respect. The whole appointment could've gone smooth with a simple explanation of we need more information regarding health history thank you and that's all but sadly was mistreated. TRULY the worst so called private practice. The receptionist and assistant on the other hand was very nice and kind the only good thing about that place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed my overall experience was just time and money wasted. I will never return. I will go somewhere else and pay whatever. Even if this was the last place in town would never return.

I'm so grateful for Dr. Young and her staff. They do amazing work and truly care about their patients well being. I called in to her office for tunnel vision in my right eye. That same day she ran all the tests and found I had increased cranial pressure. She also sent me to my neurologist that same day with full color print outs and even called the office herself to let them know this was a emergency. I'm truly can't express how blessed I feel to have a doctor care about my well being.

I was not impressed!! I took my son there and the nurse did all the exams and images like usual. She was very thorough but Dr. Appiah was not. He looked at his eyes and ordered more pictures. Then told me he needed to do some kind of retinal test, but that we had to come back another day. He told me he had somewhere to be and didn't have time to do it. He also told me next time I need to come earlier or schedule on a Mon or Wednesday because he won't have to leave. So basically I am now going to have to pay for another visit to complete something that should have been done this visit. Not happy!!!

Dr. Young was very detailed with any information that was provided to me. She made sure that I understood everything that was going on and she worked until she was able to clearly tell me what my issue was with my eye. The staff has been very friendly each time that I've gone and I would most definitely recommend her.

Dr. Young is a patient ophthalmologist who is extremely detailed in her approach to eye care. I went for a routine exam and her staff was pleasant and made me feel comfortable. After the routine portion of the exam, Dr. Young completed the procedure. She was patient and thorough, and provided information on the complications that diabetes could have on the eyes. Dr. Young gave me options to help with prevention of eye disease. I highly recommend Dr. Young for your eye care; she and her staff are friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgable.

My new patient appointment with Dr. Young was phenomenal! The office staff was friendly and informative. Dr. Young was extremely THOROUGH and patient with me considering it was my first eye visit. She went above and beyond, I would recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Young was my doctor for 15+ years and it is disappointing to say she is NO longer my doctor. Over the years, her office staff has changed and not for the better. Her staff's performance was very poor, especially, the business/billing department. They created/falsified charges on dates that I did not have appointments and I had to provide proof of all of my appointments and payments because their system was incorrect. Which I think was intentional because there were too many discrepancies. I refused to pay for charges of services not rendered. If you decide to be a patient at this office, please keep organized documents of appointments and payments. I recommend paying with a credit card or check for your proof. The billing/business department staff are very passive/aggressive. I can recall on two occasions, I complained to Dr. Young regarding my concerns regarding the billing department and nothing changed. Even during Covid, I needed a refill on my eye drops instead of them calling in a prescription that I have used for 15+ years to the same pharmacy I have used for years, they insisted I do a telehealth call and I told them I only needed a refill. I specifically asked would I be charged for the telehealth call and I was told by her staff, No I wouldn't be charged. I did the telehealth call and it was a complete waste of time because I told Dr. Young I only needed a refill and I asked would I be charged for the telehealth call and she said Yes. Days after the telehealth call, I called her office and I told them they charged my insurance and that my insurance is stating I have a balance owed for the telehealth call. Her main billing/business employee told I wouldn't be charged because of Covid and she would have to fix it in their system.
