All the new tools are amazing. All sorts of net gadgets. I could swear they are akin to alien technology . Wonderful staff too. I was on ad out in approx 1/2 hour with my prescription in hand. They also have an array of frames to choose from, especially if you like fancy. $500 is about base rate for standard frames with glare and scrach resistance. Although there was only one pair that had the clip on magnetic sunglass. Once again, im feeling my age. Transitions are the order of my timeliness. Lol
I usually dislike going to the eye doctor because of the lengthy exam time and the bright light that they put in your eyes as well as the dilation of my pupils. Ugh! This visit was completely the opposite. They gave me a full exam and were so kind and patient with me and did not take as long as normal visits, which was a great surprise! Then when I sat down to visit with the eyeglass sales reps, they were very kind and understanding about previous eyeglasses that I had purchased elsewhere and they assured me that these would fit and I would be happy with them and to come back if there was any issues at all! Thank you so much for changing my opinion of going to the eye doctor.
Cancelled my appointment without notice. I drove 30 minutes, got there and they said the office was closed. I didn't get a call, text, or email. I asked the lady there why I wasn't notified and she said they called, but no one called me. My number is up to date, and I know that because I got the reminder text of my appointment two days prior! They send a million emails and texts saying to schedule, but don't follow through! I knew I shouldn't have gone to this location after last year having to reschedule after taking off work just to wait for two full hours and not be seen at all!
Natalie IS the BESTEST!!! She was so pleasant and very patient with me as I had a lot of questions when ordering my contacts. She took the time to price match with different companies to make sure I got the very best price and she even took the time to help me pick out a pair of sunglasses. I so appreciated her excellent customer care!
Extremely Disappointed - Avoid This Place at All Costs
One of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. Completely unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful of patients' time. They cancel appointments without any notice--even after I spent two hours driving there, I was told on the spot that my appointment was cancelled because no doctor was available. No call, no email, nothing.
This happened twice. The second time, I even called ahead to confirm I'd be seeing a doctor in person. They assured me I would. But when I arrived, they told me my appointment had been switched to virtual. I never agreed to that. I specifically said I do not want a virtual visit. They seem more interested in billing insurance than providing real care--feels like a scam.
The so-called "virtual doctor" was rude, unprofessional, and clearly inexperienced. My vision is 20/20 with no issues, yet he insisted I needed glasses--why? Just to push a sale and bill my insurance? That's dishonest and unethical.
Bottom line: if you value your health, time, and money, stay far away from this place. I'm beyond frustrated and deeply disappointed.
Made an appointment, after being stuck there for over 90 minutes, most of which was waiting on a virtual doctor, I tried to check out and they refused to let me leave for 15 minutes where I waited with card in hand. Explained this was a new policy if you refused to buy glasses that the optician had to get her manager. I could hear them conferencing about me in another room. After waiting for two women to talk about me in another room the manager then came over and asked if I was giving up my benefits. I said no, I will use them elsewhere as is my right by law. She repeatedly said I was giving up my benefits and "splitting them" as if that's a bad thing when it really means nothing at all and DOES NOT NEGATIVELY AFFECT YOU I mentioned I worked for the Board of Optometry and that's what finally made them let me leave. I had to say I need to leave and was late to other appointments five times before I was allowed to pay and leave. I felt detained and highly uncomfortable. I considered walking out and waiting for a bill in the mail as most doctors do.
However when I checked in, they said my insurance fully covered (she used the word "fully") my services other than a $15 copay and $39 retinal imaging fee. Upon check out they said my insurance didn't cover the type of contacts I picked (I didn't buy contacts, just had an exam) and charged me an extra $125.
This business is skirting laws. Even in the exam room, they project the screen they're working on so I saw 7 other patients' records, even one whose name they kept calling me by (Elizabeth if you're out there they showed me your detailed file by accident). They also discussed a woman's cataracts in the lobby loudly.
Patients - you have the right to your prescription, "splitting" your benefits means nothing, you DO NOT have to use your benefits at the same place OR same day, and you have the right for an upfront estimate. If they tell you otherwise, contact the Florida Board of Optometry and/or Opticianry or consumer affairs and report them.
Side note Jashon was apologetic for the ridiculous wait and Rosie repeatedly apologized to me for not allowing me to pay and leave. She was clearly very uncomfortable too. My only complaint was that nothing was wiped down prior to me using it, it may have been after.
ETA: I just pulled out my trials they provided and they EXPIRED IN 2021! WOW

I believe it's completely reasonable to expect that when I schedule an eye appointment, I'll be seen by an optometrist in person. If the appointment is going to be virtual, that should be communicated clearly beforehand and not sprung on me once I'm already at the office. This lack of transparency is frustrating and unprofessional. If this is going to be the standard practice moving forward, I won't be returning.
Outstanding - the most comprehensive eye exam I've ever had. The customer service was superb from start to finish. This included the front desk staff, vision technician, eye doctor, and the eye glasses sales person who not only repaired my current glasses but patiently walked me through the many options of my new lenses and frames. Thatnk you so much to all!
