America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Hello my name is Karen I had the pleasure I'm meeting and talking with Ericka she really have the best customer service she literally help my daughter with her glasses til her new ones comes in she very very patient with me even when I was aggravated and she still was polite and nice

It's been a month and a half since I was first seen and we ordered trial contacts. After two follow up visits, the trial contacts still aren't right and I have to wait another two weeks just to have another follow up appointment. Two months just to be fitted for contacts is unacceptable. I'm trying to use my benefits by the end of the year, but this place is making it very difficult. One doctor I saw is very nice and has spent time trying to correct things, even though I waited an hour past my appointment to see her in my follow up. The other doctor I saw in a follow up, seemed more interested in getting me in and out of the office as quickly as possible. She actually made my prescription worse as she didn't even want to wait for my eyes to clear from inserting contacts to check them. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I understand it can take some time to get contacts fitted and trial orders to be shipped but multiple weeks for follow up appointments is just crazy, especially since the follow up appointment is just them squeezing you in between other patients.

I had such a fantastic visit to the America's Best location on University Street in Tampa and wanted to share my glowing recommendation. From start to finish, the service was absolutely top-notch. Erica and Shawna Kay were both incredible. They were not only professional and knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and helpful. They made the entire process so easy and stress-free, answering all my questions and making sure I had everything I needed. Their positive energy and commitment to great service really set this location apart. I've been to other places before, but the level of care I received here was second to none. If you're in the Tampa area and need eye care, I definitely recommend visiting this America's Best location. They are truly awesome!

This is one of the worst America best you can go to. I would not go here. The doctor Brandon Chan, did my exam in less than 60 seconds and did not care about my eye concerns. I was very upset when he was being sarcastic and rushed me out of the exam room due to the fact he was rushing to leave for the day and I saw him grab his back pack and leave after a 30 second exam. Worse eye doctor ever.

The staff was very friendly and the eye doctor was excellent. They did an excellent job and I was in and out in less then an hour. Derek helped me find the perfect pair of glasses and was very knowledgeable about the kinds of lenses.

I just had a very strange experience at this location. I was trying to order progressive lenses for the first time and instead of going through all of the options my insurance afforded me, the tech simply chose the most expensive one and said my insurance was only going to pay for a certain amount. I knew they were paying for it in full so I looked it up online. When I informed him they were paying for it he chuckled and said let me show you the difference. He proceeded to show me on an iPad the difference between the basic progressive lenses and the ones he had selected for me. I couldn't tell a difference because I can't freaking see anyway. I tried to explain that I have not had these before and wanted to simply use the benefits my insurance provided me and he seemed to think I was making a dumb choice. I cannot afford an extra 500 dollars for glasses so why was he trying to make me pay so much extra today for this? I ended up crying at this place because I was so embarrassed and felt stupid and like he didn't care. Suddenly he's telling me I have a stigmatism which was also news to me and I was unaware of. These are things that need to be explained in detail to people not just having me expected to know. I'm super upset that I once again have glasses with no progressive l nse and now have to go but reading glasses from Walmart because some guy didn't know how to talk to a customer. Sheesh

One of My reading lenses is detached and the nose pad is gone; the kindly lady very diligent fixed like brand new .Just had to thanks for their nice job.

Maria was amazing! Professional, quick and super polite and efficient!! Amazing employee! If there were 20,000 more of her the world would be perfect! All the employees in here were super kind thank you so much!!!
