America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

My daughter and I arrived to the location 15 min before closing time to pick up our new prescription glasses. Patricia and Frank welcomed us enthusiastically and approached us to assist us. They were amazing, and professional. I was impressed by how knowledgeable Frank was when adjusting our glasses. He took the necessary time to ensure that we felt comfortable with our new glasses, and even took the time to fix my daughter's old pair of glasses.( they looked like brand new). He gave us helpful tips to maximize the benefits of our glasses. Patricia was also attentive and searched for my other daughter' order and proceed to set up her contact lenses class appointment. They were so customer center that none of us realized that the closing time already passed. I want to give kudos to these two amazing employees at the Hillsborough Ave location. Excellent work!!

Tiffany, Melissa, and Frank were the absolute best!! Came in trying to get my daughter's glasses fixed, and they went above and beyond. It was such a welcoming experience. Everyone was so nice and professional. They were able to solve all my issues in a timely manner. Definitely recommend coming here for any of your glasses needs. You'll be met with welcoming faces and amazing customer service. Everyone was wonderful and so friendly. My daughter will be so happy knowing her favorite glasses were able to be fixed

Tiffany the manager and Frank the one who did my adjustments were very welcoming. This was my first pair of glasses. Frank made it a most pleasant experience. He made sure every measurement was spot on. I am very pleased with my experience.

This is not my first time to America's best contacts and eyeglasses, but this is my first time at this location in town and country. I am so happy that I dropped in on this Saturday to get my son's glasses fixed! I initially came in for an appointment and the optometrist was on vacation, but I went back inside to get my sons glasses fixed and an adjustment and let me tell you, Melissa and Frank were nothing short of amazing! If I can give more than five stars, I would! It's rare that you find people that are dedicated to their job or love what they do, but I have found a place where everyone is so welcoming, uplifting and good at what they do! They were so nice and knowledgeable and so attentive. If you are looking for a place to get glasses or contacts, please come by to the America's best contacts and eyeglasses building in town and country next to the Wingstop. You will not be disappointed!!

My mom and I went 20 minutes before closing to pick up our glasses and the staff, Frank and Patrica, were absolutely incredible! They were very informative, friendly and lovely to work with. Frank took such good care of my glasses and even fixed the frames of my older ones, he was awesome!

The team here is amazing! When I came in for my first time Tiffany looked out for me and made sure I was able to get my glasses in a timely manner. Came back to get contacts for the first time and Frank was absolutely amazing! He explained how to put the contacts in and take them off beautifully! It made the process so easy!

I went in there to get my niece some glasses! The best experience of my life and I am not even kidding. The folks working there, Frank! Clarissa, Miguel and Sheyla we were just unbelievably kind and helpful. I never had an experience like this in my life. I highly recommend this store on Hillsborough avenue in Tampa to anyone. Extra special shout out to Frank! What a kind soul!

I'm extremely disappointed with the way this location handles appointments and insurance. I made an appointment a week ago and specifically asked them to please verify my insurance ahead of time so I would know whether they accepted it or not. They promised to call me before my appointment to confirm everything was correct. My appointment is tomorrow, and I never received a call. I ended up calling today, only to find out they never entered my new insurance and had me listed as if I would be paying out of pocket. When I gave the representative my insurance again, she told me they don't even take it. If I hadn't called today, I would've shown up tomorrow just to find out they don't accept my coverage. This is not the first time this has happened to me. I decided to give them another chance, and they repeated the exact same mistake. To be fair: their selection of glasses is very good, and the doctor is excellent. But the front desk staff is consistently incompetent and does not manage appointments or insurance properly. Because of that, I cannot recommend this location.
