5/7/16 My wife and I have been going to Dr. Anderson since February , 2001 (over 15 years) and he has worked wonders for both of us. We both have bad astigmatism, I wore very thick glasses (very heavy and ugly) for over 40 years - he was able to fit me with contacts but I still had to wear glasses (which were much lighter and not ugly) Then in 2003 he sent me to St. Lukes Cataract & Laser Institute in Tarpon Springs for cataract surgery and I was finally able to see without glasses and could even read without glasses. I was free of glasses until 2014 when I had to start using over the counter cheaters +2.25. In 2016 he had to fit me with very minor reading glasses Only. My wife has worn glasses since she was 9 years old got hard contact @ age 15 and wore them for about 18 years. Then she had to go back to glasses, and Dr. Anderson has followed her since 2001. In 2016 he had to send her to the USF Eye Institute where they determined she need prisms in both lens. USF Eye sent her back to Dr. Anderson to fit her with lens with prisms -- she is seeing great with her new glasses. We both rate him 5-star Plus.

When I was 13 I was diagnosed with Kerataconus. I spent 3 years in the visually impaired program unable to be fit with glasses that helped my vision and unable to find a doctor who could fit me with RGP (Rigid Gas Permeable) lenses that I could tolerate... That is, until I went to Dr Anderson. I went from finger counting/legally blind to 20/20 vision using innovative new RGP lenses that he was able to fit me for. This was 15 years ago. After years of successful fittings I went away to college and stopped going to Dr Anderson. My disease progressed and was forced to get a Corneal Transplant, and 3 subsequent surgeries (wedge re sectioning, relaxing incisions, retaining sutures). After all the fuss I was left virtually blind in my left eye. For 5 years I lived with almost no functional vision in my left eye, then when visiting my family in Tampa I decided to go see Dr Anderson again to see his thoughts... After 2 months of fitting I am happy to say that I have 20/20 vision in both eyes, thanks to a very comfortable new Scleral Lens. So, for the record Dr. Anderson has taken me from blind to 20/20 vision TWICE in my life. He really is a miracle worker. If you have horrible astigmatism or corneal disease and need a quality contact lens fitter, He is without a doubt "THE GUY" to go to. He is very very skilled at what he does, he has legitimate concern for his patients and stays incredibly current on new technologies and innovations. I cannot give enough positive marks for him and his practice.

I called the office at 2:30 pm due to eye emergency for daughter. The lady that answered said the dr was finishing up for the day but she would check. She got us right in. Dr W. was so patient with my daughter. I was most impressed with the dr and staff! Our eye dr was closed and though we love our eye dr, this office will definitely be considered for future needs.
