The services is good but the billing is the issue. I was hit with a 40.00 dollar bill + Copay after the service. They won't tell you at front about it. After talking to the billing person and no solution for the nonsense charges Dr.Leach and I had a conversation about it.Dr. Leach answer to me was that I should pay the bill. So, Before you take the eye exam, request an explanation of any charges or you will be charge for stuff they dont disclaim at he begining of the service .That is DISHONEST .NO HAPPY ABOUT IT. FOR THAT REASON I AM GIVING IT A BAD REVIEW.

Dr. David H. Leach at the Tampa Eye Clinic provided outstanding care to me before, during, and after my laser eye surgery in 2020. My life has been changed drastically for the better now that I don't have to wear contacts or glasses. Dr. Leach was attentive and professional and his team was always available to answer questions. Highly recommend this business!

Had a great experience at Tampa eye clinic. Went as a new patient for an eye exam and ultimately ended up in the eyewear area for some new glasses. Tiffany was my customer service rep and was exceptional. She was funny, kind, helpful, honest with pricing and options, patient and just all around super helpful. It.s hard to find this type of service anymore and she was amazing. Thank you Tiffany!!! Would highly recommend this center.

Office incompetence. I made an appointment about a month or so ago. Was told they were accepting new patients. Was looking forward to an appointment with a doctor specializing in the condition I have. Confirmed my info, appointment date and time. I Call morning of the appointment to reconfirm the office address and they have no record of my appointment. Completely inept office. Patients deserve better

Dr. Leach is a fantastic doctor! He recently performed PRK surgery on both of my eyes and I couldn't be happier. Prior to seeing Dr. Leach, I was informed by another doctor that PRK was the only option for me. I wasn't convinced and wanted a second opinion. Dr. Leach was highly recommended by the physicians I work with, in addition to my own patients. After multiple thorough exams, he confirmed that PRK was my best option and not to be discouraged. It's easy to see he truly values his patient's quality of life both pre and post surgery. His staff, Jackie and Kelsey are also wonderful and made the entire process enjoyable. I am recovering and seeing better than ever!

I NEVER leave a review but I feel the need to do so. Dr. Leach and his team are the most caring people I have ever met. As a 23 year old I was terrified to lose my eye sight at a young age, therefore having this elective surgery was nerve racking to say the least. Since the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed and relaxed. After all my examination, doctor Leach explained to me I was a great candidate for lasik, while also explaining any risk and complication, and answering all my questions, he was VERY patient. Despite my fear, I booked the surgery date and went in. Like many things in life, and unforeseeable circumstances, one of my eyes didnt take, here I was sitting at the laser machine, one eye done, the other one was not cooperating (I partly blame my nerves and anxiousness). I was devastated, lasik on my right eye went smoothly and I now have 20-20 after a couple of days. Lasik takes a couple of seconds at most! Easiest procedure ever, and painless! I had to opt for PRK method on my left eye, again Dr.Leach and his team were more than understanding and soothing as I was full blown panicking and blaming myself. Had PRK done, and I'm fully healed and recovering. His team goes above and beyond, you can tell they love what they do. I have recommended d to all my family and friends who have asked. If you are on the fence about it, take the leap, I honestly believe Dr.Leach will always give you his honest medical opinion as to what's your best options.

Dr. David Leach is outstanding in his field! The review about a yes or no over the phone is unrealistic. Anyone asking any kind of doctor for specific help over the phone without seeing a patient is not a doctor you should see & they can lose their licence as well. It's just not ethical. Also, a thorough exam whether you had one already, no matter how soon it was, is necessary & it is not unusual for a doctor to refer you to someone else. Have you never had a second opinion on anything? It is a wise thing to do. Also, expecting a refund is ridiculous! He performed an exam, as an opthamologist, which by the way, is in no way an optometrist. An optometrist does basic eye exams & does Not perform surgery! An opthamologist does surgery & is a specialist! As far as Dr David Leach, he is one of the best lasik surgeons around & performed lasik on me in 2005 & corrected a really bad astigmatism I had in my left eye & lasik on my right eye as well. I see him every year & to this day have 20/20 in my left & 20/30 in my right. After wearing glasses since a child & then contacts as an adult, the results 12 years later is still amazing to me! Even when I went for renewal on my driver licence they said I had 20/20 & 20/30 & told me for my age of 54 that is remarkable & unusual that I wasn't wearing contacts or glasses like most people that come in & have to in order to pass eye test. I have recommended him to others & they have had the same kind of results & he even did cataract surgery on my grandmother who is in her 80's. She never expected the wonderful results! Do your research! Many doctors are in it for the money but I can assure you he is not! Also, Tampa Eye Clinic is one of the longest, most established place for exceptional eye care in the Tampa Bay Area. I now drive an hour & a half to go there. I Would Never Trust Just Anyone With My Eyes or My Vision! Dr Leach is the best & most thorough opthamologist around! Janice B. Smith his patient since 1995. .

I found Dr Leach and his staff, highly professional and caring. I had cataract surgery on both eyes, and found it to be painless and restorative from not seeing to drive at night and now having the vision of my youth! Thank you Dr Leach!
