The surgery went well and I really like Dr. Berger's new surgery center, which is an Advent facility at Wellswood in Tampa,. The staff there were more personable than other surgery centers I have been to...(& we know that Advent answers to a "higher power"!) Anyway, the surgery experience was good. I had some questions about post surgery the day following and the waiting room was extremely crowded. Dr Berger's office was all hands on deck. Dr Berger answered my questions, but I definitely had to ask the right questions to get the answers I am seeking. He is an excellent doctor and I have utmost respect for him... And yet he is a man a few words. But I did get the answers that I needed. Btw: he also did a great job with my husband cataract surgeries one year ago, with excellent outcome

Dr. Berger is an incredible surgeon. I needed both eyes operated on because of cataracts. In the early 90s I had RK surgery done on both my corneas to correct my vision, which was a great concern to many surgeons. Dr. Berger's expertise with cataracts and cornea surgery was a perfect match for my unique situation. I've had both eyes operated on by Dr. Berger and have fantastic results. I am so very happy. I also like his staff they're very nice.

I have been Dr. Berger's patient for approximately three years. I just recently had bilateral posterior capsulotomy procedures in office, and the result was, needless to say, amazing. There was no real recovery time and my vision is clear now. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of Dr. Berger and his team in the office. They are always so kind And professional. He has an amazing group of support staff whom are always helpful and accommodating.

I'm a long time patient because Dr. Berger is a good eye doctor and stays informed of all the latest developments and information for my particular eye issues. He tries new and innovative treatments for my eye issues that offer relief and make my eyes feel and look better. The office personnel are friendly and professional.

I am a physician and the child of two physicians. I am well able to evaluate physicians. Dr Berger performed my cataract surgery on my right eye. He is a meticulous and gifted surgeon. He has an attention to detail and he also is an ethical doctor. Rather than having me pay for cataract surgery on my left eye, he told me that at this time surgery on my left eye is not necessary. His staff and office are also always polite and always helpful. Lisa the Optometrist is especially kind and gifted. I am blessed to have found them.

If you want to be in good hands for the care of your eyes, I highly recommend Dr. Berger. He is very professional, knowledgeable and competent. His staff is also very friendly. I had a cataract surgery which was a complete success and now he is treating me for a cornea degeneration on which he follow up with me every 6 months to determine when a transplant is necessary. Dr. Berger, tech Lisa and the entire staff provided outstanding service and results regarding my recent cataract surgery on my left eye April 2025). In a nutshell, I am a musician and was playing a rehearsal gig last month, played the first hour of rehearsal without my my new prescription glasses, at the break, realized I had left my glasses in my trumpet case.
