International Eye Center

Mr. Don Perez was one of the most disrespectful medical experiences I've ever had. He had terrible bedside manner, I received more stay time in the hospital because he was 2 days late to come and evaluate my vision. I told him I was very photo sensitive and he turned his exam tool brighter when he went to examine me, he ignored my questions and spoke to other people in the room instead of me. Ever since he evaluated me I've had a small black dot that comes in my vision. On top of all this he has charged me privately for an on-call visit to the hospital and when I called the hospital they told me that him charging me privately is not protocol. He's shady at the very least and I wouldn't send my worst enemy to him.

For the last few weeks I have been treated by Drs. Perez at the International Eye Center. This condition would likely have resulted in surgery had it not been for the awesome care of Drs. Bernard and Donald Perez, and the incredible staff at the Center. At every visit, my vision was checked thoroughly and I was given a detailed description of my condition, the treatment involved and where the stage of improvement/lack thereof. Drs. Perez thank you for your patience,compassionate care, and dedication to your craft. The wait each visit was lengthy, sometimes way too long but the end result was worth it and I remain grateful.

Plan on waiting 4 hours on every appointment as they deal in large volumes and schedule many patients at once. They also do a very hard-sell on cataract surgery to every elderly person that comes in. Its best to get second opinion elsewhere to see if this is really necessary.
