I visited for an EYE Exam check-up on February 19th at 6:00 p.m. The clinic wasn't crowded at all, but my overall experience felt rushed and not through. The initial computer-based measurements could have been more thorough and precise, especially since that step forms the foundation for the rest of the exam. The doctor's portion of the eye exam felt hurried. I had to make quick decisions when comparing lens options, without enough time to clearly evaluate which one was better. At the end, I expected the doctor to show my current prescription, compare it with the new one, and ask which felt more comfortable -- but that didn't happen.

Better than boutique! Great selection and service! Absolutely noteworthy experience. I was there on the last day of the year, along with half of the rest of Tampa trying to spend our last FSA funds. I had gone to luxury boutiques earlier thinking it would give me the best selection and service - and I had even made a purchase! - but still had some funds left and dropped by lenscrafters "just to see". First of all, the lenscrafters designer/luxury frame selection was just as good - in some cases better! - than the boutique offering. Also of note, their pricing was same or superior to the boutiques. The experience in store was the most noteworthy highlight. Despite how busy it was and how close it was to closing time I was never reminded of the time or rushed. They let me browse with no pressure, gave helpful feedback on frame shape for my face shape and make sure I was happy with my choice. I appreciated not being rushed but was especially grateful at the time and care they took to make sure I maximized my funds, including pulling in the very busy manager, who was more than gracious with her time. Coming from someone who has been in customer management for over 20 years, this was a masterclass. Can't wait to get my new frames in hand!

I had a great experience at LensCrafters. Katherine helped me during my visit, and she was fantastic friendly, patient, and genuinely focused on making sure I got exactly what I needed. She walked me through my options, answered every question with confidence, and made the whole process smooth and stress free. It's rare to find service that feels this personal and attentive. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Katherine if you can.

Noah was great and made sure my new replacement lenses were fitted to both pairs of my Tom Ford's glasses perfectly and in reasonable time. Katherine assisted me most recently and I chose three pairs of prescription glasses; one pair Versace and one pair Armani regular, and one pair Versace Sunglasses. She was very professional, cheerful & helpful, and she made excellent suggestions. As I went throughout the store, I put my choices in the tray Katherine provided me, and she sat with me as I tried them on. She made great comments with respect to the frames and the lens types. She confirmed my final selections and fit me to each of the frames, and gave me the anticipated turn around time. I paid and added a box of Lens Towels. She was fantastic and I look forward to receiving my new glasses. The customer service and the quality of the glasses at LensCrafters is always superb, proving that "You get what you pay for!"

So accommodating and helpful! Needed some sunglass adjustments and they squeezed me in as a walk up between clients. Nevan was awesome and displayed great customer service!

I'm honestly very disappointed with my experience at this LensCrafters location. The staff at the store have been polite and professional, but the process of getting my glasses has been extremely frustrating. I have now been waiting almost a full month for my glasses. For the past two weeks, I kept calling and was repeatedly told the same thing--that the glasses were "being shipped." Today, they called me and was told that they actually placed a second order and are waiting to see which one arrives first. This means I may have to wait even longer, possibly another month. Waiting this long for a pair of glasses is unacceptable. Glasses are not a luxury item--they're something people need for everyday life. While the staff have been kind, the lack of clear communication and the long delay have made this a very frustrating experience. I hope the store improves its process because customers should not have to wait this long for something as essential as prescription glasses.

I went in for an appointment and was informed that for code S9986, my insurance would cover up to $11.00. When I asked why this was not reflected on the itemized invoice, I was told to speak with the manager. The manager explained that I had signed a consent form agreeing to the $39.00 charge and that this service is most likely not covered by insurance. I later contacted my insurance directly and was advised that S9986 is not covered under my vision benefits. I explained that I did not want to proceed with procedure code S9986 if I was required to pay the full amount. I was then told that I could not be SEEN unless I agreed to the non- covered service. What was most frustrating was receiving conflicting information from staff. When I followed up with the receptionist, I was told something different than what the manager explained, which created confusion as to why I was still required to pay $39.00 for a non- covered service if the service was supposedly being submitted to insurance? I went in for a simple appointment and was expecting clear communication and transparency, which unfortunately was lacking during my visit!!! I left and scheduled an appointment at the LensCrafters located in Citrus Park and the DR. & Staff are AMAZING!
