Dr. Leonard Cortelli is a superb ophthalmologist, the best in Florida. I highly and enthusiastically recommend Dr. Cortelli for all your eyecare needs. Dr. Cortelli recently performed cataract surgery on both eyes, 2 weeks apart, and did an outstanding job. As a result of Dr. Cortelli, the world looks more beautiful to me. Dr. Cortelli is the quintessential professional, dedicated, patient, kind, personable, a gentleman, and a scholar. Dr Cortelli's staff, including but not limited to Theresa and Julie along with all the other technicians and assistants, are also very professional, personable, and helpful. Dr. Cortelli is a great credit to the medical community, and he and his staff deserve the highest rating.

I had cataract surgery last year in my left eye and this year in my right eye. I did not pass my vision test to renew my drivers license prior to the surgeries. After the surgeries I don't even need glasses to drive. Dr Cortelli has improve my quality of life tremendously.

I've been going to Dr Cortelli for over 20 years. I only have good things to say about him and the office. He did both eyes for cataracts in February and I am happy happy happy with the results. It's very nice being able to see. For the first eye, my eye was very dry for a couple of weeks but that passed and it was quickly back to normal. I don't hesitate to recommend him.

First and foremost, there's probably not enough room for ALL of the great things I could say. I've been seeing Dr Cortelli for many years for my eye care. Hands down, in my opinion he's the best of the best. He recently removed my cataracts and put in a new lens which I love!!! He's a great surgeon, a great doctor, and a great person. He's so darned good I told him he's never going to be able to retire! If there were more stars I'd give him 10.

Just completed cataract surgery and couldn't be more pleased. Dr Cortelli refused to sell me upgraded lenses due to astigmatism that I have. Other ophthalmologists in my area (Bradenton) were more that happy to sell me the upgrade. The staff is highly qualified. Well worth the hour drive to get someone I could trust.
