Dr. McAleer should change her name to Dr. McClear. After being seen by her and getting new glasses, my vision is clearer than it ever has been. She is the best optometrist in Tampa. I am a physician and I can only say great things about her. I went to several other optometrists and she is the only one that spent the time to figure out my problems and give me the perfect prescription. Please do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with her. You will not be disappointed. Do not settle on your vision. She is the best and her staff are very congenial as well.

Dr. Macey McAleer is hands-down the best Optometrist I've ever had. I've been seeing her since 2019 and she's consistently been thorough, patient, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to explain what she's seeing, answers questions clearly, and never makes you feel rushed. Her practice is beautiful, modern, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Her staff is just as impressive; professional, friendly, and efficient from check-in to checkout. On my most recent visit, Dr. McAleer personally made sure my new frames and contact lenses were ordered correctly so there wouldn't be any delays, which I truly appreciated. If you're looking for expert care with a team that treats you like a person (not an appointment slot), I can't recommend Dr. McAleer highly enough.

I came in for a comprehensive eye exam, and Dr. Macey McAleer was so thorough--she took her time to break everything down in deep detail and I never felt rushed. She has a passion for optometry that extends a huge benefit to me as her patient. Dr. McAleer doesn't rush through the appointment, she takes time to explain what she is doing and makes sure that I fully understand why a test is needed along their results. Dr. McAleer encourages questions and fully answers them. She also provides appropriate information that I find interesting and am thankful to learn. I have left each appointment feeling that I am her valued patient. Dr. McAleer has recently opened Moderneyes Advanced Eyecare equipped with leading-edge equipment. Her office is beautiful and "white-glove" clean; it has an adjacent parking lot. I enjoy visiting her new office. Joseph, her associate, is professional, pleasant and provides great patient service. He has a wealth of knowledge and has readily answered my questions. Joe has been very helpful to me in backing up Dr. McAleer when I was receiving extended eye care. Dr. McAleer is providing the coordination of my upcoming cataract surgery with the surgeon, and she will provide my post surgery care. She is professional, extremely pleasant and it is a joy to be her patient.

I have been with Dr. McAleer since ~2019 and I never want to find another eye doctor. She is kind, compassionate and genuine with her patients. She takes her time when talking to you and listens to all of your concerns, every time. I feel like a family member is taking care of me when I go to see her. In my professional experience I have worked with many physicians and advanced practice providers. So, when I say it is obvious that she is an expert in her field...I say it with personal and professional confidence that I leave her office knowing I received top of the line care.
