I had an amazing experience at my eye dr!! They took care of me and made me feel like I was a model! Super friendly front desk girl helped me checked in and was super sweet loved Bella! Leiza the eye tech was super sweet and professional. The doctor was very informative and made the exam go by smoothly. Sirena was absolutely hilarious and got me such a cute selection of glasses! 10/10 recommend to everyone

My experience at this MyEyeDr location this year compared to my first visit was a nightmare. During my first visit I had no issues at all. All I needed was my annual exam & new contact lens supply. - First, I got a text that my appt may need to be cancelled because I did not give a verbal (?) confirmation in time. Fine, but when I tried to call the office to re-schedule or inquire, I could not get a hold of anyone. Left a voicemail with no call back. Eventually found out their internet was down so they could not check their voicemail. Also, their website would not work properly for re-booking. - The day before my re-scheduled appt I was told my insurance coverage ended which I knew was not true. After multiple calls back and forth, the receptionist said she realized she read my card wrong... she saw "Coverage Effective March 2025" and thought it said "Coverage Ended March 2025". - The day of my appt I saw that the mailing address on my chart was somehow one in Maryland that I have never lived at before. I had it changed to the correct one and confirmed it was updated correctly before I left so that the contacts would be mailed to the correct one. - Several weeks later and hadn't received the contacts. Called the office to inquire and found out there was a typo on the NEW updated address so they ended up getting mailed back to the office. No one ever informed me about this. I then had the address changed AGAIN and was told they would be mailed out to me. - A week later still no updates. Called the office again. At first they couldn't even find the package. Then found out they never initiated mailing them. I ended up just driving back over to the office to pick them up myself. I understand it takes time to train new staff (if this is the case) but the lack of communication and organization here made a terrible, drawn-out experience out of something that should have been simple & straightforward. Giving 2 stars because at least the staff was friendly and my exam was fine but will not be returning here unfortunately.

I hate shopping for glasses but the staff at MyEyeDr are so incredible! Serena walked me through the store and gave her honest opinions which is so important. She made sure my benefits were maximized and store manager Rhonda is always there to welcome you with a smile. Highly recommend this store.

My experience at myeyedr was lovely. The front desk was quite busy as it was a Saturday morning but they were kind and helpful. The doctor that I saw Shetal Patel was amazing. She was very thorough with her exam and had a very soothing demeanor. As for checking out, Rhonda was perfect! She was informational and very kind. She represented the store so well and helped me through every step of the checkout process. I definitely recommend if you live in the area!

I have been a patient at the my eye doctor location in Midtown for approximately 3 years. I am convinced that this location is by far the best! The best in Tampa, the best in Florida! Thank you Dr Patel along with all of your colleagues... Bella thank you, Rhonda thank you, Leiza your the best and Serena "you rock!" In all seriousness thank you ladies for all being professionals and knowing your craft. You are truly the best. Your professionalism and great personalities and patience made my visit one of the best. Easy 5 stars +.

I adore this office a lot. I went here 3 years ago and won't go anywhere else. Heck lived in Orlando and went here for my yearly appointment because the staff and doctors are just so personable. Rhoda was absolutely helpful in getting my contacts and assisting me in anyway I needed. I see Dr Sarno and she is great. Goes through in detail to explain images done, prescription and any question you have. An overall great office!

Great experience from start to finish! The staff was super friendly and efficient, and I was seen promptly. The office is in a great Midtown location, making it very convenient. They also have an excellent selection of glasses--stylish and plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend this eye doctor

Absolutely loved my experience . Front ladies were super nice to my grandmother, Leiza was an awesome tech, Serena was wonderful as well. 10/10 recommend coming here to use ur insurance and get your glasses!
