I have NEVER HAD such an invasive eye exam. The staff is incredible. From my first visit i was met with kindness and understanding. I absolutely love Mamta Patel MD, she is the best. She is very patient, honest and thorough. She treat both myself and my Aunt. I'm will be sticking with her & USF Eye Institute from now on..you are the best !!!

I've been seeing Dr. Mamta Patel for the past six months regarding an eye condition, and every experience has been exceptional. She is attentive, thorough, and genuinely takes the time to listen and ensure that you receive the best possible care. I never feel rushed during my visits, and I always leave feeling confident in my treatment plan. Her staff is equally outstanding--professional, friendly, and efficient--which makes each visit pleasant from start to finish. I am extremely pleased with the care and service I've received and would highly recommend Dr. Patel and her team.

Dr. Mamta Patel, Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at USF Health, is an exceptional physician. As part of the Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Vitreoretinal Surgery team, she demonstrates an impressive depth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism. From the first time he saw me as a patient, he welcomed my family and I, and provided hope and positivity. After some minor procedures and surgeries, my visibility has increased and the pressure in my eye has substantially decreased. He and his team are always available for questions and respond with feedback within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you for your bedside manner and attention to detail. I am so grateful for this hospital but extremely grateful for Dr. Mamta Patel. There is a long wait time, but I am ok with that because my vision is irreplaceable. Within two visits Dr. Patel was able to reassure me and help clear up some of the mystery behind my illness. She truly is gifted and knowledgeable at what she does. She takes her time and explains everything. She answered all my questions and broke everything down for me. She truly gave me a peace of mind. She is truly amazing.

Excellent care by Dr Mamta Patel. Thorough, very knowledgeable, explained things clearly, and, most importantly, on time and quick. First time at this practice and Dr Patel closely reviewed my medical history, grasped the issues of the health problems, gave clear instructions on my next steps and plan of action, and gave a referral to another specialist. I appreciate her take-charge approach to medical care. Highly recommend Dr Patel.

Dr Patel is wonderful. I truly believe I'm getting the best possible care, which is a good feeling. And everyone at the reception desk is friendly as well as professional. The only issue is the wait. This was my second visit with her, and I waited both times. The first time the visit took a couple of hours, but this time it took 3.5, which is just unacceptable. It wrecked my plans for the day. They shouldn't book that many clients.

Dr. Hamrah is a great doctor. I would travel anywhere to see him. However, i didn't appreciate having an additional amount added to my bill after the initial quote and after paying in full on the day of... and then later being sent an additional bill that I'm still not sure what it's for. I don't expect to be charged new amounts without consent or explanation when i was assured i paid the full amount and would not be charged anything additionally.
