Forty-eight hours after completing the final lock-in for my Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) cataract surgery with Dr. Scott Wehrly at Lake Eye, the transformation is astonishing. My distance and near vision are clearer than they've been in more than 40 years! From the first consultation with Dr. Wehrly, to the procedure at the Santa Fe Surgical Center, and the subsequent light adjustments at Lake Eye's Wildwood office, every step was handled with exceptional skill and professionalism. For anyone considering the Light Adjustable Lens process--my treatment involved 10 appointments over 11 weeks--I found it worth the commitment. Dr. Wehrly and the staff are very competent and friendly. However, the reason for only 4 stars is because the pre-visit online check-in process is overly cumbersome, especially for already established patients coming in for an annual eye exam.

The staff is really nice. I just go for annual exams right now but Dr. Wehrly informs me if there are any concerns we have to follow up on. See you next year.
