I did a 5 star because they want let me do more. I by far and so is my wife extremely impressed with going here. We had an appointment at another sure center, showed up there to it, process were way of from what they said and she was losing vision in her left eye. When we left there, I seen this place out the corner of my left eye and just pulled straight on in, walked in with NO appointment, no nothing, told them what was going, they got her back there, ran every single test they could and the doctor (Ogarth Hutton) was stunned because there was nothing wrong and couldn't understand why she was going blind. He didn't want to do a new eye glass prescription because he didn't think that was the problem. So thanks to him, ADVENT HEALTH in ocala located the tumor and we got the ball rolling and ate now in the process with getting it removed ( surgery) because it's easy to big for meds and the normal procedure. I WILL be in there Tuesday to personally thank him myself because I was a hot mess. I HIGHLY recommend this place and trust me, what you pay there is well worth every single dollar spent. Thank you staff and the doctor for being so on top of it and didn't send is ot the door all because we didn't have an appointment. I can't say it enough, thank you all again....

Excellent place to get work on your eyes. The day my cataract was removed the nurses were very professional. They did there job very well. I have another cataract to be removed and have no worries at all.

I received the request to pre check in. Easily completed before getting to my appointment. I was admitted with no problems. The tests were quick and each step was explained. I met with Dr Plum and was examined in a professional manner. So efficient

I had eye pain over the weekend. I called at 1030am Monday morning, got a same day appointment for 11am same day. Dr Hutton was very nice. I was nervous, talked to him a mile a minute. He was very patient with me. He gave me a treament plain, Rx and fallow up appointment for 2 weeks. I was back home by 1230pm.everyone was really nice.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. My process was very efficient and quick (very small wait times). My first time with Dr. Hutton. Very nice! Very pleased with my entire experience.

Spent time online to register - "pre-register" for my appointment; I verified all of my information. When I arrived for my appointment was told that my time spent online was not good enough and that I HAD to use their kiosk. I told the receptionist - a VERY nice woman - that I took care of everything online. She politely told me that unless I used the kiosk, they would not know that I arrived for my appointment. I looked her in the face and said "I'm here for my appointment". She also told me that I needed to sign another "consent", and if I didn't use the kiosk, I'd have to fill out a ton of paperwork. What lies they are forcing their staff to say. This is an EYE center. People come in and cannot see or are in eye pain and are being forced to use a kiosk. They are eliminating front of house staff (more $$$ for practice, fewer jobs) and taking away human contact (bad for humanity).

I just had the most amazing experience at the Mid Florida Eye Center. Everyone, starting with the front desk staff where I walked in looking for info and ending with Dr Weppelmann and assistants, treated me like I was their only patient. Top notch customer service, care and treatment. I couldn't have gotten a better care if I have asked for it. Love you guys!

I arrived about 5 minutes early for my appointment and was taken back promptly at the appointment time. I was seen by a Tech who took some rudimentary measurements and then administered the dilating drops. I waited no more that 25 minutes in a very nice waiting area and then was taken to an exam room where information was gathered from me by a different assistant. The Dr came in within a minute after the assistant left and he did his exam and asked me just a few more questions. With that I got a glowing report that my condition was stable and I did not need to be seen again for another 6 months. I was taken back to the waiting area I had just come from. Within 5 minutes my name was called and I was taken to have photos taken of my eyes. The photos are flash. They are startling and somewhat painful but I can certainly say that if that's the most painful experience I ever have in my life I will have lived a very fortunate life. The photographer is very skilled and there was no need to retake any of the photos . It was over in less than 5 minutes. Everyone from the front desk to the Dr and assistants was warm, friendly, kind, patient,helpful and professional. It was a terrific experience.
