Family Eye Care of Albany

Went to my scheduled annual appointment today (2nd year overall). The staff is friendly and tended to me quickly. Dr. Posey did a great job explaining what she was doing and answered all my questions promptly. Prescription basically stayed the same and was not even pressured to purchase any new glasses. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care needs! See you next year.

The front office staff is great and helpful. The back staff is great and helpful. Dr. Posey is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend people use Family Eye Care!

This office is extremely customer focused and they always make time for you when there is a problem. Dr. Posey is very thorough and has really helped me with management of my eye issues. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I have been going to Family Eye Care for about 3 years. The office staff is great and I've never had to wait more than about 15 minutes to be seen. Dr. Posey is very thorough and is happy to work with you regarding special needs. This is my second pair of glasses from them and the prescription is perfect! (As was the first one!) They have a good selection of frames and the turn around time to get your new glasses is about 2 weeks. The opticians are also great to work with you and offer good advice when selecting your new frames. I highly recommend Family Eye Care of Albany if you're looking for a vision specialist!

I had one star prior due to buying glasses I could not see. After asking for a refund I was denied by Miss Posey who explained they DO NOT do refunds. I had Dr. Cosby convince me to come back to get my glasses. I explained I didn't want to come back, however he said you came to get a pair of glasses don't you want glasses? After rechecking my eyes he said my prescription was correct however I have to see through the center of the glasses. I am 53 years old and never heard that ever! Then he said he would give me a refund and I can go somewhere else. He just wanted to confirm they were right I was wrong and I don't ever have to come back. So awkward, however at least I did get my money back even after I had to be SCOLDED for it. You got your point across Dr. Cosby are you happy now? Have a day YOU deserve!

This Family Eye Care practice is top notch and one of a kind! Every single employee is warm, friendly, caring, and interested in their patients well being. I felt like a family member. Call them, you won't regret it.

Wow, what a refreshing experience. From the moment we walked in the door till we walked out shortly after. My husband and I both had appointments and had a wonderful experience with the entire staff. We retired three years ago and moved to the area. We have solicited two other Eyeglass dispensers. We were happy with neither one. We could tell this facility would be great because of how long it took us to get an appointment, but it was well worth the wait. They even schedule us for next year's appointment. Wow this is awesome. Can't wait for the reminder. Do I have enough room to mention every staff? A special mention to Scarlet, Megan, Casey, Sabrina, Christine, and of course Dr. Posey.
