Check in was easy and very friendly. After waiting over an hour and still not being called back, Jennifer came over and asked if I would like to look at frames while I waited. She was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. I was finally called to pretesting by the general manager. I was not informed/educated on the testing that was taking place, nor the cost. The retinal photos were extra and I wasn't given the choice to have them or not to have them. Those should be taken only if patient agrees. She then seated me in the exam room and had to leave and get a pen, had to leave out again to get the instrument to check eye pressure. The exam room could have used some housekeeping. I had been there for 2 hours by the time Dr. Deloatch came in. He was professional and thorough as always. He, receptionist and Jennifer get 5 stars! The wait was ridiculous at best. Zero stars! I heard the general manager tell another patient that they had 2 emergencies earlier and were behind. Doubtful. They have to be over booking. Process needs review. The general manager gets 1 star. In her position, she should be doing a much better job than what I saw. I worked in EyeCare for a time and if our patients had an experience like I did, we would have been fired.

I made an appointment online with Dr.Deloach. I used to use Dr. Hendley and he was great. I came for a regular exam since I hadn't been in 2 years and wanted my prescriptions so I could get new contacts and glasses. I was there for 3 hours and waited a very long time. While i was waiting in the exam room, I heard Dr.Deloach and the office manager talking outside of the door. Dr Deloach said "How did she even get on my schedule. I need to leave here by 2:00". There should not be online booking if we are not supposed to book online. I told him that I wanted to get new contacts specifically. He dilated my eyes and then i tried on the new contacts. I couldn't really see good out of them but he assured me that was just because my eyes were dilated. When i got home, I later realized that he did not do a new exam. He gave me the same contact prescription from years ago and I cannot see out of the contacts I just spent $150 on. Now I am going to have to go somewhere else and get a new exam so i can get updated prescriptions.

I am so frustrated with the office in Albany. I called in March 2025 to get an appointment with Dr. Deloach. The first available appointment wasn't until August. I scheduled that appointment and the staff changed my appointment with Dr. Deloach to a Dr. Gordon without my approval or request. I was told by staff that Dr. Deloach doesn't see anyone on Saturdays. Dr. Deloach sees my husband and my son and he's helped both of them. I saw Dr. Deloach years ago and now that I'm a diabetic I have tried to get an appointment with him, but I keep getting excuses after excuses. I spoke with Dr. Deloach and he told me to schedule an appointment with him on the first Saturday he had available which I did. Instead of August my appointment was changed to October. Just before my appointment I received another phone call telling me that Dr. Deloach wouldn't be available. I rescheduled again for December 6th and yet again I was given another excuse. I was told the visit would be virtual and they wouldn't dilate my eyes for this appointment. What good is the appointment if I can't get a thorough exam which is what I am wanting because of my diabetes. If they would have left my first appointment alone I would have been done with everything. Now they tell me that Dr. Deloach is seeing any new patients and only seeing his established patients. Why wasn't I told this from the beginning? I could have gone to someone else and had this taken care of by now. I'm tired of the excuses. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone.

I called this office and made an appt to see an eye doctor, no specific doctor as I didnt know them. But they are providers in network with my insurance. The day of appt when I get there I am told it will be a telehealth visit and my eyes would not be dilated today since the doctor wasn't in. . Dilated for what? Anyway? Then I am told my insurance doesnt cover bifocals, I am an insurance agent and my insurance evidence of coverage specifically mentions it covers bifocal stigmatism exams 100%, so $144 for the vist I believe it was, really I cant remember what all the different charges were for but another $44 maybe it was the telehealth visit , why Am I being chrange because rhe DOCTOR is not in the Office where I AM! Thats not telehealth that is absent. and I already drove to an office, not sitting at home. Charging me because the doctor isnt there crazy as hell! but then what really got me was a $10 co pay because he is a specialist, I am not here for medical reason and saw no reason for a dilation that wasnt being done, or why that was even brought up. i just needed a routine eye exam and I am still far from 65 years old. Or why am I paying a CO-pay fir medical , and insurance is paying nothing as said.. as an agent, this was WAY off for me. I walked out without the exam. I have rescheduled with another eye doctor and and made sure my insurance covers what I need. Yes, it does, I explained what I just encountered and they have no idea what iwas going on. I also called my insurance provider and she went over my coverage after I had lookd over my evidence of coverage once again, I didnt not expect any of that, nor have I ever paid more for an exam because i was bifocal, insurance careier said they are wrong. Seems maybe code changes to bill medical , well she paid the co pay, and could just be not reporting to eye insurance and triple dipping to me. You don't pay a co pay for nothing. And a full bill. Craziest thing I ever heard! I gth out and never to return! Just trashy! Beware!

This place is horrible when it comes to appointments. I wouldnt take my pet rat or dog there. I scheduled my son appointment 3 months ago. After receiving messages and emails about check in and confirming his appointment, the office called me a day before his appointment to reschedule for February. I advised the lady my son is having problems with his eyes and glasses. The lady did not care and was rude. I asked her why did they wait to call me a day before the appointment. Of course she didn't give me a reason. This place is trash and the workers are too. No type of customer service skills or anything. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!!!!!

TLDR: The eye doctor gave me pink eye and refuses to take any accountability. Just want to save someone else the time and frustration I went through with MyEyeDr.. I waited TWO MONTHS for this appointment, specifically asked for an in-person optometrist, and then got switched to telehealth last minute like my time didn't matter. The visit itself felt disorganized, with interruptions that made it hard to feel like I was actually being taken care of. Then not long after my appointment, I ended up with confirmed pink eye. When I called to let them know, I was transferred THREE times just to reach management--who were immediately dismissive and insisted it "couldn't be from their office" instead of actually listening or showing any concern. So to sum it up: * 2 month wait * Last-minute switch to telehealth * Disorganized experience * Left dealing with an eye infection * Rude, dismissive management The lack of accountability and basic patient care is honestly frustrating. I definitely won't be going back.

Mrs. Wendy was so patient and kind to both myself and my son. She listened and helped us find glasses my son loved and most importantly in our price range.

Great customer service highly recommended, associates are very kind and Wendy was a great help also along with the other associate that helped me. Also the representative at the front desk where you check in at provided excellent customer service.Overall 5 stars
