My wife was billed twice for the same surgery on both eyes, which was unsuccessful. She returned multiple times for corrections which also were also unsuccessful. Eye Surgery Center billing, Medical Insurance and Medicare could not agree on who was primary payment provider. This carries on for over a year Eye Surgery Center AGREED to resolve the issue and did not. She made multiple attempts to help resolve the issues. Six months AFTER the dispute resolution date expired she received a letter from Lanier Collection Agency & Services for $3,965.
In short - multiple unsuccessful surgeries were performed, she was essentially billed for surgery on three eyes and they did not honor their commitment to resolve payment issues. We do not recommend using Eye Surgery Center of Augusta.
