Dr Fowler gave a good Rx for my vision at the time. Two weeks later I saw an ophthalmologist and was informed that I had cataracts in both eyes. My thoughts is that there was an sudden onset (2 weeks) cataracts or Dr Fowler did not see them or he purposely did not inform me of them. In any case I was dissatisfied with his total service; again The RX was good.

Dr. Fowler is fantastic!! Previously, I went to a large, privately owned eye doctor in Martinez. I always complained about headaches and having foggy vision. After years and $$$, I finally tried Dr Fowler on a friend's suggestion. BULLSEYE!! He gave me perfect vision on the first try! My prescription was way different than from what I was wearing. I've been going to him for 3 years now and seeing better than ever! Highly suggest!!!

Dr. Fowler is awesome. He has treated me and my family for many years and has always been very professional and caring. Whether it's for normal exams or an emergency he will accommodate your schedule and make sure you get the best care possible. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Fowler and Miss Holly are great! I wear contacts and I have been going to them for several years now. I switched from a previous optometrist who refused to prescribe contacts because that Dr. preferred glasses and would get angry if I wasn't seeing well with the prescription he gave me; he would refuse to adjust it. Dr. Fowler listens and finds a solution.

Dr Fowler has been updating my prescription for a number of years now, and has always been willing to check or recheck the glasses after you buy them from Costco (or elsewhere). He really wants to give you the best experience possible. Every time I get a contact exam he gives me 5 sets to use while I wait for the new order to arrive. I'm not sure why the complaint about the contact size in the other review, as I'm pretty sure you can check for fit by looking at how they fit rather than "measuring"--at least that's what I'm used to. I'm also rather sure the machines can measure your cornea/eye size. The manual method is just a confirmation (which he does).

Dr. Fowler and his team are knowledgeable, kind, gentle, and patient! I love that he takes time to address my concerns and questions and goes the extra mile to make sure I really understand. I recommend him any chance I get!
